Things I Love Thursday

It's finally here. The first Star Trek Into Darkness trailer. It's very Benedict Cumberbatch-centric.

No words can describe how I feel right now! Still no word on who Benedict Cumberbatch is playing, but my mum (and myself) think he is definitely Khan! Which would be freaking awesome.... but (SPOILERS) may mean that Spock may or may not die in this film! (END OF SPOILERS)

Lego Lord of the Rings for 3DS - It's so good. I was worried that it wouldn't be good, but it is. There are funny little cut screens, and it's used the voices and music from the films.

I bought it yesterday and have already made it to the second film. There are a few things that have annoyed me (but then I realised it was a children's game) ie Boromir was killed with a "Banana" and not a shitload of arrows! Hearing Boromirs voice makes me sad :( I miss Boromir.

SCRIBBLENAUTS for me.... and beware of creepy men

Preordered my copy of Scribblenauts from EB Games so I can get a "Rooster Hat". Donald (the manager) say he'd ring me if it came in earlier, because I told him I was going away. YAY! I can't wait until its out.

I'm also looking forward to the new Dan Brown book, and finally listening to the new MUSE album, The Resistance. I have it, sitting next to me, but I have to go to work so I'm going to leave the listening until I get home.

I really don't want to go to work, because there is this customer, Ken, who is middle aged and kept asking one of the 19 year old girls to go to the movies, she told him no and he's stopped bothering her (after about a trillion tries) but now he's after my little sister, but has invited me to come along too, and he asked my sister to go to the movies, and she told him to talk to me, which means I have to be the one to reject him. He's a nice man, but just creepy =( I'm going to tell him we're busy until after I come back from Victoria and then figure out something to say. I could just say "Sorry but you're creepy, so NO!" but thats mean, and I'm not a mean person =(

Scribblenauts anticipation. Was due to be released this week, but has been kicked back until 30th September. I wanted it for my trip to Victoria (I leave on 1st Oct) so hopefully I can get a copy before I go. Should reserve it from EB Games and get my "Rooster Hat"

Being halfway though renovations. We have no kitchen and brand new plaster on the walls. It's so exciting. We're been talking about renovation for ever and now it's happening.

But in other ultra exciting news. EB Games are finally getting Lime Green Nintendo DS Lites. I'm so excited. I saw them on eBay about 2 months ago and tried to get EB Games down here to get me one, but they couldn't. But Nintendo Australia just announced that because Eb Games sold 55% of DSi in Australia, they get the Lime Green NDS Lite, exclusively. YAY!
The only problem is it's due out 4 June. The same day as Sims 3.... which means I might not be able to afford it all. =(
But thats life. =D and since I don't have to fork out for 20 year old shoes (no matter how awesome they are) I should have a little bit of money.
Anyway. I have work tonight. Should be fun!

Life, Cake & Christmas

Had an awesome day today.
When KT finally came home @ 3pm we went to look for shells on the beach. The weather is crappy but it was okay.

At this point in time, right now, I'm in the middle of making BLACK FORREST CAKE! Hell Yesh! Can't freaking wait until Christmas. And going to Sarah & Justin and finally (maybe) getting to meet Arun =D I'm slightly pissed that I have to work. but DOUBLE PAY! woohoo!

I HAVE ANOTHER PRESENT UNDER THE CHRISTMAS TREE!
Animal Crossing for Wii! I'm so excited. I will be able to play with Kawaii-Chan and Harlee-Quinn. I'm so excited! Since I can't play Wii Animal Crossing. I've been playing it on DS. I know have every fruit growing in my town! And thanks to a pre-owned copy of Animal Crossing, I can visit Alex's town and steal her fruit!! HAHA!

Anyway life is good! YAY! More interesting posts coming later tonight! (and pics of Cake!!!!)

i want 'the neverhood' its a pc game from 1996 and the animations are made with clay mation. I remember playing a demo of it years ago. And i really want it now. I bought wii fit. I haven't played it yet. I want too :) anyway. Bed time :)

Why Am I Awake So Early??

it's 11am. This has got to be the earliest I've been up for a while... and it's saturday! I don't know why I can't sleep in on Saturday... So I'm surfing and buying shit off ebay. I was outbid on the rosary beads, and I don't really want to bid any higher so I bought a copy of Harvest Moon DS Cute, which has a girl instead of a boy... YAY! by the looks of it thats the only different... the land looks the same, I think everyhting is the same except the characters gender is reversed... hahaha that sounds weird. I was going to buy the normal Harvest Moon, but then I found the "Cute" one.

I'm trying to decide if I'm going to go to the Escape The Fate concert... I want to go because it a concert =D but I only like 3 songs, and Ronnie is not the lead singer anymore, so the songs will sound different... and it's a lot of effort to go to perth for 2 days and go to a concert and be disappointed. I know it's Escape The Fate... but I'm not really a big fan. I have 2 of there cds, but only like 3 songs... and the fact, if we go, we have to go to the all ages gig, instead of the 18+ one.

Anyhoo... I'm currently downloading another Muse music video... Sing For Absolution... It's one of my fave songs... eventually I'm going to download all the Muse music videos. But I'm starting with my faves first. And it takes about an hour for each music video... but I guess thats better than 5 hours...

I have to go to work tonight... I have tomorrow off, I'm planning on doing nothing, it's pretty much what I do anyway. I might make some cupcakes... but I'll probably end up online all day. I'm hungry... I'm gonna go find me some lunch...

My Collection Is Complete!

I got a new DS game today! See ^^^^^
It's like a card game... I thought it would be pretty stupid, but it's actually quite addictive. The guy at EB Games said he was going to buy it if noone else would... but I got in first! HAHA!

So anyway did some shopping today... spend most of my money! I got new socks (stripy emo socks!) Tim Burton DVD "Ed Wood" (the only Tim Burton movie I don't own... but now I do) The Sims 2 Freetime Guide, The DS game (above) and some black pants, because the zippers of both my work pants and my grandpa pants broke! GRRRRR!

I also ordered broadband thru Telstra... I know I heard Telstra sucked, but mum really wanted all the phone and internet to come from one place... I don't know how long it's going to take to show up, and I chose to set it up myself, so hopefully it won't be too hard... but I am a qualified IT technician so... hahaha!

Mario Kart Wii All Around The World

OMG guess what me kaitlin and jenna are doing right at this moment... right now??? playing mario kart wii... online with people from all over the world!! from japan and england and italy! OMG it's so exciting... i'm like so excited!!!

OMG it's so cool! I'm so excited... I feel pretty geeky. I'm sitting in jenna's living room, playing mario kart wii online and typing on the net! I love it! I really need to get a laptop and some wireless broadband... heheh YAY!

But It's Got Jared Leto In It...

I'm searching the net for friends codes for MarioKart wii... because tomorrow night we might go out to Jenna's and see if we can hook up to the net and play Mario Kart online!
Other than that, I'm listening to LOVEX... jenna bought the 2 albums... I'm so excited to have new music!!
Anyway I'm going to go have a shower, then watch either "Stargate: Atlantis" or "My So Called Life" I don't really know... I don't really feel like watching "My So Called Life" but it's got Jared Leto in it... hmmmm!

I can load word documents onto it, and read them... so I don't have to print out pages and pages of smut... but it just makes my phone even more special... NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO TOUCH THE SMUT FILLED PHONE!

Criminal Minds - Season 3 started on TV last night... but I haven't finished season 2 so I'm trying to get it all finished by next week... and I recorded last nights episode!
Mobile Phone - Because I figured out how to put Documents onto it... so I can read slash! =D
Mario - As is Nintendo Super Mario... anything to do with Mario... Yoshi etc. I addicted to playing Mario Kart Wii, and I also want to buy Super Mario Galaxy (even though it made me sick)
Working - Yeah I know... Weird! But I really do enjoy my job at the Video Store. I wish I had more hours, cos then I could get a car!

Anyway... it's 9pm and I'm gonna go watch some more Criminal Minds!

Super Mario Galaxy Made Me Sick

It's 10pm I've been online since 5.30pm... guess what I've done?? I've post 2 blog (not including this one) I've joined one new "roleplay" group on Polyvore (I'm Nancy the Geek) I've made 5 polyvore sets, I've commented on 2. I've saved 5 photos of Billy Talent! And thats about it! Almost 5 hours wasted! HAHAHA!

I watched "Casanova" on Saturday night! Not the one with Heath Ledger in it, the one with David Tennant (Dr Who) and god! It was so funny! OMG! It just gives me even more reasons to HEART David Tennant! OMG!

Anyway I have 4 movies to chose from to watch tonight!

Things I Love Thursday #2 - 24 April 2008

Mario Kart Wii – I went into EB Games this afternoon and picked up my pre-ordered copy of Mario Kart Wii. OMG I’m so excited. It’s so much fun. And I’m really lucky that I pre-ordered it from EB Games because apparently the train that had the stock for Target/Kmart was derailed =O. I’m so lucky. *squee* I walked into the plaza, and nearly every teenage boy in the place was holding there copy of Mario Kart Wii. HAHA Nerds!

Note: 2 hour in and Kaitlin and I have already unlocked some new circuits. YAY!

Red Dwarf – I started watching it from the start again. I’ve seen them all before, but I can watch them and still laugh, because they’re just so funny. It’s amazing how a TV show with only 5 characters in it can be so funny for so long. HAHA!

Polyvore.com – I’m like fully addicted… obsessed… OMG… awesome. I created a group called “The Awesome Foursome”. I got Zoe addicted, and I signed Kaitlin up… now all I need to do is get Jenna addicted.

HIM Songs – or… “The Goosebumps I Get When I Hear A Song That They Performed At Their Concert… That I Was At… OMG”… that really explains it *girly squee*

Torchwood/Dr Who Fanfiction – Ianto as the doctors’ new assistant… OMG Yes!! Jack and the doctor together... finally... OMG! *extra girly squee*

Rocking Out To KILL HANNAH - I've known of them for awhile, but I've started listening to the songs I have on my computer, so I would be ready for when the cds showed up. OMG I love them... hehehehe. I've decided that my band (if I ever have one) will release a cover of "Lips Like Morphine" but instead of... "I want a girl with lips like morphine" it's gonna be... "I want a BOY with lips like morphine" tehehehe! YAY!
