Soundwave

AFI

HIM

Placebo

Escape The Fate

Paramore

Tomorrow we head to Perth. Soundwave is on Monday and I'm excited. And nervous =D But only because it's the first time I've ever driven to Perth by myself and I'm worried about running into people I don't want to see =P
I'm excited about seeing the above bands, but not that excited about the heat. I stress far too much when it comes to stuff like this. I just need to relax and go with the flow.
Do you know what I love about Soundwave? other than seeing heaps of amazing bands. Getting into bed afterwards, with all the awesome memories, and knowing that it's over and I don't need to stress anymore. I know thats kinda silly. But it's true, and I'm trying to be truthful with myself and others.
I'm looking forward to going to IKEA.
I know it's overpriced and doesn't last long, I just love it.
Swedish Meatballs! YUMMO!
I'm freaking out about getting home after Soundwave, because fucking Transperth isn't putting on any extra trains.
Dammit, I'm freaking out again.
RELAX.
Bedtime now anyway.
Wish us luck.

1 week to go!

I got my haircut, but I don't have a memory card in my camera so I can't take any photos yet. Maybe tomorrow. I need a new memory card anyway for Soundwave, which is NEXT WEEK! YAY!
Been looking at the setlists for Brisbane and Sydney Soundwave and making a playlist. I'm so fucking excited! There are a lot of songs I have to "half-learn" so I don't look like a wannabe =D But I have sexy hair now, so I'm not a WANNABE! =P Let me just say, I have less hair than my dad now =D

Doctor Who Series 5

Promo shot for series 5 of Doctor Who with Matt Smith. I love his costume. Skinny Jeans, suspenders, bow tie! How long will it be until this is in all the fashion magazines? I don't like his nose and huge forehead =( I know I'm not the one to be pointing out peoples features, but his nose is kinda a distraction. And who the fuck is that scary clown man in the bottom corner? SCARY!
CAN'T WAIT!

The Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds

"Quentin Tarantino, Upper Playground and The Weinstein Company have teamed up to present, The Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds — a benefit for Haiti this Thurday, February 18th 2010 from 6:00-9:00pm in Downtown Los Angeles. A bunch of artists have created their own posters based on Quentin Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds. You can check out eleven of the thirteen posters after the jump. The event will be held at The Upper Playground Art Gallery, and all proceeds from this program will be donated to The American Red Cross to help the victims of the Haiti Earthquake. Each print will be numbered and signed by Quentin Tarantino, in a extremely limited edition of only six prints per poster."

"This creative team has assembled the following select group of accomplished artists, David Choe, Sam Flores, Estevan Oriol, Grotesk, Jeremy Fish, Patrick Martinez, Alex Pardee, Dora Drimalas, Munk One, N8 Van Dyke, Rene Alamanza, Morning Breath and Skinner Davis, to create their own poster art based off their interpretation of the Oscar Nominated film, “Inglourious Basterds” artwork."

Alex FUCKING Pardee! He's one of my favourite artists. I wish I could buy a copy of his print, but they're only available The Upper Playground Gallery in LA =( I bet you can guess which one is Alex Pardees'
