Mini Update

I seriously missed my iPhone 5 delivery man by minutes!
I left for work at 11.28am and the delivery slip says 11.35am.
It means that my (yet unnamed) iPhone 5 is sitting at the post office!
Going to go and get it before TAFE tomorrow morning.
Then at lunch I will come home and activate it.
Then go to work and not show anyone because it won't have a cover.
Unless I can buy a cover for it somewhere tomorrow.
Then come home and play!!!

Had the big prac meeting tonight.
For all those not regular readers, I'm going prac for TAFE at PCYC doing Vacation Care.
I was freaking out about my resource sheets and risk assessments not being good enough.
But according to my supervisor they're fine!!

So iPhone 5 tomorrow!
So freaking excited!

I ordered a cover off eBay, just a clear one :D
Next week I start prac, so I probably won't post much.
My roster is CRAZY!

I really need to sort out my post labels! There are sooooo many!

Tattoo Talk

I WANT a "Don't Panic" tattoo, but I'm so indecisive of what I want it to look like and where I want it to go. I would love to have it on my forearm, but I have possible plans for other tattoos I want on my forearms... and well I only have 2 forearms :(
I don't want a full sleeve. I want a couple of tattoos that look good together. I also would like to see them without difficulty. I'm not interested in back tattoos... The only place I want tattoos at the moment is on my arms. But arm tattoos are one of the hardest ones to hide.

Not that I want to hide it, but work would probably not like it!

Other tattoo ideas I have at the moment are the constellation "Scorpius" on my right forearm and the "Dark Mark" on my left forearm. But I'm a little wary about getting fandom tattoos. So I might sideline the "Dark Mark" and put "Don't Panic" on my left forearm.
I try drawing the design on myself, but it's not centred probably. I guess that's what Tattoo Artists are for. Another issue I'm having is weight loss. I really want a tattoo, but I'm paranoid that if I lost weight it would look weird and gross. So do I wait, or do I just get one and get over it?!

So many decisions!

"what if" I wasn't overweight.

Scorpio. I don't really believe in horoscopes, I can't believe that millions of people can have the "same day/week etc" also magazine to magazine the horoscopes are different etc.
Scorpius is my favourite constellation, and I plan on getting a tattoo of it one day, but not because I'm a Scorpio, just because I love stars and space and Scorpius is an AWESOME constellation!

6. Your views on mainstream music.
I love music. sometimes the "mainstream music" (which I assume is the music you hear on the radio, or see the music videos for on MTV etc.) can be a little annoying. I'm not against it, but I still find myself having trouble finding CDs of my favourite bands at local stores (ie Kmart, Target or Sanity)
iTunes has made it really easy to get music. Before iTunes if you wanted to listen to your favourite band you had to order the CD in, or borrow it from someone. iTunes has made ALL music mainstream :D

I don't know how to classify my music tastes. A little bit of everything. You can have a look at the music I like and listen too here.

7. Five pet peeves.
ONE) Negative people. I know I admit that I can be negative sometimes, but people that NEVER have anything nice to say, need to shut up!
TWO) Inconsistency! Having this problem at work at the moment with the new organisation format. Some genre count "THE" as a word (ie The Help, The Descendants etc. are all under "T") while other genres don't. Also some genres run down the shelf, others across the shelf! DRIVES ME CRAZY!
THREE) People who drink alcohol to get drunk!
FOUR) People who bitch behind your back.
FIVE) Secret breakers. If I tell you something secret... DON'T REPEAT IT!

Subway - 12 inch white, chicken fillets with pizza sauce and cheddar cheese, toasted with avocado, carrot, lettuce and onion.

9. How important you think education is.
Very important. Stay in school! You don't have to go to University or study TEE, but you need to be able to read and write! Too many kids today don't know how to read. When I was in year one, if you couldn't write your name you were held back. They don't do that anymore because it looks bad on the school statistics! FUCK STATISTICS! The schools are failing the kids. They get to highschool and fall behind and then drop out and then become stupid bums!

1. Five ways to win your heart.
ONE) be hilarious! if you can make me laugh you've got me. This applies to men and women. But a man that can make me laugh uncontrollably always has a place in my heart. This includes: Sacrastic Humour, funny voices, funny faces, English humour etc. As long as the humour isn't at my expense and I'm not going to feel embarrassed to be around you :D
TWO) have an accent! favourite accents include: English, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Finnish, German, New Zealander, Spainish and Italian.
THREE) be smart. I'm not talking SUPERDUPER smart! Just be able to have a conversation with me about random shit, like space, physics, doctor who, star trek... :D you see where this is going.

2. Something you feel strongly about.
Mental illness, in particular, Depression and Anxiety and the way people seem to think that it doesn't exist! I HATE PEOPLE who push it aside like it's nothing! It isn't nothing! If people in their family are suffering from depression, they don't need YOU telling them that they're being stupid and it will pass! THEY NEED SUPPORT! GAH!!!
And from what I've heard the people that tell people with depression to "get over it!" usually are suffering from some form of depression or anxiety themselves!

Yeah I know! I always start and never finish! It's just me. I start things and don't finish them. It happens in all aspects of my life :D I stole this list from my sister Alex (read her blog here) It seems like an easy list of prompts :D Instead of doing one a day, I will do 5 a day, that way I will get through the list in a week, which means I'm less likely to procrastinate about them and not do them.

Epic Garden Project

It's springtime, that means it's time to do some gardening. We have a huge open area behind my dad's shed that at the moment is just grass and gravel. My plan is to turn it into an epic garden, with vegetables, fruit trees and hopefully chooks :D

City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare

Last night I started City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare.

Then this morning I found out it was being made into a movie. So I "IMDBed" it to see who was playing everyone, and I was pleasantly surprised, and now SUPER EXCITED to see it!

The main character Clary is being played Lily Collins, who I haven't seen in much, but she's in Mirror Mirror (which I havent seen!) and she's Phil Collins daughter, so she's awesome :D

Her mother is being played by Lena Headley, who plays Cersei Lannister in Game Of Thrones and is in the new Judge Dredd film with Karl Urban.

Clary's best friend Simon is being played by Robert Sheehan from Misfits.

Jace the Shadowhunter (and I predict the "love interest") is being played by Jamie Campbell Bower (who really should brush his hair or something!)

Hodge, the Shadowhunter tutor/leader/thing is being played by Jared Harris, who was Moriaty in the Robert Downey Jr Sherlock Holmes.

Luke (who I'm not sure how he fits into the story yet) is played by Aidan Turner, from Being Human and soon to be in The Hobbit!

The bad guy, Valentine is being played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who will make an awesome bad guy... JUST LOOK AT HIM!

AND AND AND! Kevin Durand! is playing Emil (but I haven't met him in the book yet!

For those who don't know me... I have a thing for the man pictured above! Kevin Durand! I just love him! He's easily one of my favouritest actors! :D I can't wait to see this movie.

It's out August 2013.
