I'm Melissa.
I'm a 22 year old geek from Australia.
I'm mainly a film & TV & computer & Music Geek, with a slight inclination to video games & books.
I love geek fashion!

I'm also a bit of a closet girly girl. I love pretty things, like flowers, and sparkles, and pretty wallpaper and colour, but with that said, I'm also a closet goth! Get it? no... neither do I!

I've been posting here everyday since the beginning of 2009, but decided to also create this blog as a creative blog as opposed to my personal blog.

I also am a constant user of facebook, but you'll have to get to know me more before I add you.

So in this blog, I'm going to be talking about many geeky things, as well as some un-geeky things, but I think the extent that I talk about them, make them geeky.

I have a spare Moleskine Journal. And until now I haven't realised what to do with it. But I've decided to turn it into an Inspiration Book.

Every page is going to have a different thing that inspires me. I have 2 pages so far. DANCE & CLOUDS. I will try and take photos and post them when each page is done.

I'm also considering writing a childrens story!

Sims 3 Delayed

Fucking EA Games.

Sims 3 which was originally due for release on February 20, has now been changed to June 2. That's almost 4 months away.

WHY?

do you want to know why? not because something horrible went wrong, not because something is broken, because they think if they wait to Summer (USA) they can make more money out of it!

Sims 2 is one of the fucking best selling games of all time... it's made millions, even billions of dollars, and they want more!!!!

I don't get the world. The Sims 3 was going to stop me from going mad while I'm back at school, doing a course full of people who don't like me. I needed it, and now I have to wait to June... I'll be finished the course by then... It's all too hard.

FUCK YOU EA!

PEOPLE NEED TO GROW BRAINS

I ADMIT, I'M NOT THE SMARTEST PERSON, BUT I BELIEVE I HAVE A RATHER REASONABLE AMOUNT OF THIS AMAZING THING CALLED COMMON SENSE!

for example. saying comments like "all the people from are uncultured hicks" when, maybe, just maybe someone from is standing next to you! I WAS FUCKING STANDING NEXT TO HER! and she insulted me. I never in my whole life ever felt so insulted. Because she wasn't insulting just me... only the 50,000 other people that live in my home town (which technically is a city... but hey)

What did i do?

Nothing, because I'm not a mean person. (but i did have something i would of loved to say to her... the women wearing no shoes, with feathers in her hair and smells like... certain illegal drug) I smiled, and walked away. Listening as one of the others in the group told the women that I was from . But did she apologize? No she didn't. BITCH. SMELLY FUCKING HIPPY WHO CAN'T AFFORD SHOES!

The moral of this story. be careful what you say when you're around people you don't know. because I know many people that wouldn't of walked away... and that women may have ended up in hospital =D
