You Can Ignore This If You Want.

Watching Reign Of Fire.
Have a cold and a toothache, I want the tooth out, but once it's out I need to get my braces on quick, but I can't afford them *sigh*
Sorry about the lack of 30 Day Project. Just not in the mood to post. Being sick and working everyday is quite tiring.
You know how I went and saw Predators in Perth because Albany wasn't going to show it, well guess what? It starts in Albany this Thursday. Hahaha, I'm going to go see it again, if I can afford too.
Christian Bale talking with his real accent, not the fake American accent.
Had a weird dream about a girl I worked with and there being a huge music festival in town and there was a million people there, and I had to meet up with her, but couldn't find her. I got so frustrated. When I woke up I was so glad it was just a dream.
The pain killers have kicked in now and my tooth doesn't hurt.
Now for a slightly emo revelation.
I hate being me.
Not all the time, just now. Being sick and having crap teeth and not being able to afford braces and car payments and to pay off my credit card. I want a new job, but I just don't have the confidence to find one, which all comes down to being overweight :( it's a vicious fucking circle.

Anyhoo, enough emo-ness for tonight, sorry about that last part, if I could afford a psychologist I would so go. But because I'm poor, I'll just have to settle for you guys.

Bub-bye

Update

I'm sick. I have a head cold. It's annoying. I have work tonight and then Saturday and Sunday morning. But I'll survive. There will probably won't be any "real" posts for the next couple of days.
Watching The Simpsons. I just watched to episode where Topher Grace does the voice of Donnie. I've seriously watched a hundred episodes today.
I really don't like feeling snuffed up :(
Last night I watched American Psycho and yes I did have a nightmare that involved Christian Bale and a chainsaw... Stupid movie. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't anything special. Christian Bales American accent annoys me, why can't he just talk normally, with his sexy English/Welsh accent :) I need to find a movie were he's speaking normally, The New World I think :)
Anyhoo, good night (even if it's only 3.30pm)

Organisation is a Bitch

Today, I decided to finally stop procrastinating and start organising the files on my computer, in particular the pictures.
33GB of photos. Photos I've taken, photos my family members have taken, but mostly photos I've saved off the internet (yes photos of sexy men and pretty girls.... along with others). At the moment, I've got the folder (as is) copying across to my external hard drive, for backup, just in case I accidentally delete a folder I don't want to (which I do... a lot)
So I start out with genre folders, TV, Film, Music etc. then by actor or band in those folders... my main problems are, what do I do with all the photos that don't fit into those categories... and what about Jared Leto??? Film or Music? I don't want them split up... and so on.... It does my head in. For example....
WHERE DO THEY GO? the "Jared Leto" folder, the "Alexander" folder or the "30 Seconds To Mars" folder??? (OMFG he's a sexy cunt =D.... inside joke between Jared and I... well Jared and everyone at the 30 Seconds To Mars concert on Saturday.... I really don't like that word, it's the new "fuck", just like black is the new.... well black) (really that was just an excuse to post these photos.... Hephaistion loves Alexander)
Even now, as I'm typing this, I'm saving more photos to my computer =O MUST STOP!

OKAY, so one hour after starting this post.... I think I have successfully organized my photos. Well kinda.... the "Random" folder is pretty epic. It's not really organization when you just chuck everything into one box.

Just found out that 30 Seconds To Mars will be back in Perth next March for Soundwave. YAY! Off to relax now. Bye-ee

Predators Mini Review

Yep, that's right, I've finally seen it, and it was AMAZING. Adrian Brody is sex on legs! His character, Royce, is a lone brooding sexy wolf (not literally) and no matter what Emma tells you... it's mud, no poop. They even talk about it (it apparently hides your body temp from the Predators, because they can only see in infrared). I loved all the characters, but Topher Grace (yes, Eric from That 70s Show) was the best (other than Adrian). His character is a surgeon, but that's all you know, he's smart and kinda a wuss. So why was he chosen to be hunted by the Predators????? (I spent the whole movie trying to figure it out... BTW I was right =P)
Anyway. I can't really say much, because I don't want to ruin it for people (or he'll hurt me). All I can say is... SEE IT... NOW!
There is something about a man with a big gun that I find sexy.

Day 07 — A photo that makes you happy

There are heaps of photos that make me happy, that's what I love about photos. It's hard to choose just one, so I'm going to choose a photo that was taken recently, by my little sister... on Saturday, at the best concert I've ever been to. (ps I poladroided it)
JARED LETO. Rockstar. I was going to get rid of his red eyes, but I don't have any photo editing software (I thought I had Photoshop). I prefer Jared Leto: Rockstar to Jared Leto: Actor.

30 Seconds To Mars

I wasn't in charge of taking photos. When I'm at concerts I don't want to spend the whole time hoping that the photos turn out okay. So my little sisters (yes both of them) were taking photos. At one point during the concert Jared disappeared off stage and appeared at the back of the stadium in the Audio control pit. We were only 2 people back. If I wanted I could of reached out and touched him (and I did try). I have video of while he was in the pit, but I tried to upload it, but I just couldn't get it to work =(
Here are a couple of photos (of Jared mostly) and at the end, the Setlist.

Jared dragged some people onto the stage for the last song. Kings and Queens.
Yes... he is wearing light blue nail polish (PS... I bought one of those necklaces)

The night was awesome. As much as I didn't want to go before hand, once I got there the adrenaline kicked in and it was all go. 30 Seconds To Mars have moved to the top of my "best live bands ever" list .

The Avengers

The cast of The Avengers assembled at Comic-Con [Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson. Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow. Chris Hemsworth as Thor. Chris Evans as Captain America. Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man. Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye. Mark Ruffallo as The Hulk. Joss Whedon as The Director.]
That's right... Mark Ruffallo is The Hulk! FUCK YEAH!
Fuck that is one sexy ensemble cast.

Day 06 — Whatever tickles your fancy

Picspam
with director commentary

Gerard Way (from My Chemical Romance) has the best "spirit fingers" in the business.
Also shown, wedding ring (Models' Own)
Johnny Depp as the Mad Hatter (for all the people that have been living on Mars... under a rock)
I love this quote.
I'm afraid that I may have lost my muchness (if you find it please place it in an envelop and send it back to me)

so do I.
Johnny Knoxville.
The only member of Jackass that can still make me laugh my arse off.
I don't know why so many people hate him.
He's tall, sexy and funny... that's all I need
(oh and he's the only man that can pull off Converses and too short pants)
One day, I will get my hair cut like this.
When I get around to it, I'm going to make a T-Shirt with this saying on it.
Up is a wonderful movie, every time I watch it I cry at the beginning and then again at this bit.
I LOVE DUG!
That's it. I could go on forever and ever, but I don't want to spam you (even if it's called a "Picspam") Blog may be quite over the next couple of days because I'm off to Perth for 30 Seconds To Mars concert. But I will be tweeting (hopefully) so don't forget to follow me (or just scroll to the bottom of the page and see them there) REMEMBER, comment here or @reply me on Twitter, or I won't follow you back. =D

Things I Love Thursday

As much as I feel like shit (stupid toothache) today it finally hit me that I'm going to be seeing 30 Seconds To Mars on Saturday. Some one returned a copy of Chapter 27 (which has a picture of Jared Leto on the cover (albeit a fat Jared Leto)) and it hit me. I was grinning like the Cheshire Cat. But even so, I'm still freaking out about it. For a couple of reasons. 1) obviously my tooth ache, and 2) someone is going to be at the concert and I really don't want to run into them, it's been over a year since we stopped talking, and I just don't really want to see her... but I'll get over it, because I have too.

I've been listening to HIM again. All their older music, and I'm in love... again. Ville's voice. OMG. If I could only listen to one band for the rest of my life... I would choose HIM.

Notable Mentions.
  • Customers who think I judge them because of the films they watch.
  • Finally get to see Predators on Sunday (hopefully).
  • Cheese Pizza for dinner.
  • Sending emails to stores asking if they have something you want and getting an email back saying they do and have already put it aside for you.
  • Runaways - Saw Captain America in the volume I finished last night. Just started Series 2.
  • Eyebrow Wax tomorrow. It's true I love it. I hate having people touch my face, but for some reason I like getting my eyebrows waxed (except the pain) but then I have sexy eyebrows again =D

Day 05 — Your favourite quote

This is an easy one. It's the same quote that I copy into the front of my diary every year.
May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art -- write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.
Neil Gaiman (1960 - )
Neil Gaiman is my favourite author. I've only been a fan of his work for a couple of years after picking up a copy of American Gods. As well as fantasy novels he also made his name as the writer of the comic series Sandman, and also as the writer of the film Mirrormask. He's also just finished his script for the next series of Doctor Who. I can't wait to read it. Expect to hear more about Neil in the next couple of days when I get to "Favourite Fictional Book"

The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test v2.0

I did the test again, just to see how right it was.
(it seems I'm more Nerdy, a lot more Geeky and heaps more Dorky... GO ME!)

Your result for The Nerd? Geek? or Dork? Test...

Outcast Genius

57 % Nerd, 83% Geek, 70% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.

A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.

A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.

You scored better than half in all three, earning you the title of: Outcast Genius.

Outcast geniuses usually are bright enough to understand what society wants of them, and they just don't care! They are highly intelligent and passionate about the things they know are *truly* important in the world. Typically, this does not include sports, cars or make-up, but it can on occassion (and if it does then they know more than all of their friends combined in that subject).

Outcast geniuses can be very lonely, due to their being outcast from most normal groups and too smart for the room among many other types of dorks and geeks, but they can also be the types to eventually rule the world, ala Bill Gates, the prototypical Outcast Genius.

Congratulations!

Day 04 — Your favourite (comic) book

You many have noticed a little change to the 30 Day Project for today. I was going through the list and later on it asks for my favourite fictional and non-fictional book, so really what is the point of posting about my favourite book now, if I'm just going to do it later. So I'm going to post about my favourite comic book/series.

It's a series about a group of teenagers that discover their parents are all members of an evil crime gang called The Pride. Their parents are not all human, including mutants and alien invaders. The kids runaway and discover that some of them have inherited their parents gene. So far I'm only partly through volume 2 (of 11), but I already love it. I also learnt that there is a film on the way.
The Teenagers exsist in the same reality as the X-Men and The Avengers, and there is constant reference too them (including Molly (the youngest of the group, and also a super strong mutant) saying that she is going to marry Wolverine one day) which made me laugh, but I'm quite excited after finding this...
That's Molly and Wolverine. OMG I can't wait for this one. I think it's volume 10 of series 2. There are 3 series in total. WOLVERINE!!!! I'm sorry I can't say more. I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, and I haven't read much. I do know that they go back in time, and I can't wait to read the volumes written by Joss Whedon *squee*

=(

I'm trying to stop myself from crawling into bed and crying myself to sleep. I just feel so drained and sore and sad. I'm browsing We Heart It trying to find some inspiration, something to stop me feeling like this, but it's not working.
Not even Ewan McGregor standing in the middle of field full of Daffodils works. Doctors appointment on Monday, hopefully she will inspire me to take better care of myself.

Parental Guidence - Course Language

Quick update and then i'm off to do nothing all day (again)
just got back from the dentist. I have tooth decay, but he didn't do anything about it, he told me to make an appointment and he's going to pull the whole tooth out, but that's not until September. So I'm expected to deal with this pain until then. His solution... Pain Killers. so the next 2 months I'm going to be drugged up on Pain Killers, or in pain. WELL DONE MR. DENTIST.

Then I got home and checked the mail. I have bloody JURY DUTY! FUCK FUCK FUCK! Gah! I'm so freaking unhappy. I don't want to spend the next couple of months in pain, because of one stupid tooth, but there is nothing he could do about it. I could of had it pulled out sooner, but I'm in the process of getting braces, and if the tooth comes out too soon, my teeth will move and then the orthodontist will have to align my teeth and blah blah blah, teeth teeth teeth, blah blah blah, money money money.

And that brings me to the next thing.... do I even want to be in Perth at a concert when I'm in this much pain? Should I just not go? I really want to go, but not in this state. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!

No Post Today = FAIL

Was going to post Day 4 of the 30 Day Project today, but last night I developed a really bad toothache, and I mean bad. I've never ever felt pain like it before. I was at work, and couldn't find any pain killers. I locked work up twice so I could disappear out the back and cry, and somehow I managed to stay the whole shift. When I got home I had some Panadol and everything was fine, until it wore off. I spent the whole day dosing up on Panadol, but now, it's just not as affective =(. I was unable to get into my dentist today, but have an appointment tomorrow. I'm so pissed. I'm fucking going to a concert this Saturday night, and don't want to be in pain the whole time, or equally, drugged up on pain killers, this sucks. So I slept until noon, and got up and went to the video store (well work) and grabbed two of the new movies out this week.

I actually enjoyed Valentine's Day more than I thought I would. I love trying to connect all the stories (which I did, before the stories in the film actually did, (especially the Bradley Cooper connection *swoon*)). I laughed the hardest during a scene featuring Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift, where TS wanted TL to put on a shirt that she gave him for Valentine's Day, and TL says "You know I don't like taking my shirt off in public" and I inadvertently yelled "Liar!"
The Vampire's Assistant (called Cirque Du Freak in Australia) was awesome, I especially loved the credit sequence at the beginning, and all the different "Freaks". John C Reilly (who I have never really thought would play Vampire very well) was excellent, he really did pull it off. The actor that played Darren Shan (who is also the name of the writer of the book series) was annoying. He was a goody two-shoes, and it was just strange.

Last night (while I was lying in bed waiting for the pain killers to kick in) I finally started reading The Runaways. I had read volume 1 through the Marvel App on my iPhone, but since my trip to Melbourne, I now have them all (all 11 volumes, hard cover and all, as well as Volume 11 signed by the author, she was very excited to see it in Hard cover, apparently she had never seen it in hard cover before). I can't wait to get to the volume entitled "Rock Zombies" (not sure what number it is) because Wolverine is on the back cover. As in X-Men Wolverine. So excited.

My boss is finally back from Bali, and his daughter and wife (who I also work with) brought us all (as in the staff) little presents. I got a little beaded necklace porch. It's really cute and colourful. I don't know what I'll do with it, but it's really the thought that counts. My most favourite gift I've received when someone had gone overseas, was a Venetian Masquerade Mask keyring from Venice from my favourite teacher in highschool Mrs. Stanley. I don't have it on my keys because I don't want to lose it. It's safe and sound in my jewelery box.

Anyhoo. I think that's it. Considering this was suppose to be a "sorry no post today" post, looks like I failed again =D

Day 03 — Your favourite television program

I really had to think about this one. There are so many shows that I love. I think I love TV more than film. But what to choose? Star Trek? Stargate? Big Bang Theory? Criminal Minds? Doctor Who? I love them all my I think I will never ever love anything and laugh harder in anything then I do when I watch....

It's a British sci-fi sitcom, that ran 8 seasons between 1988 and 1999. It's set in the future and revolves around Dave Lister (the last human in the universe) played by Craig Charles, Arnold Rimmer (a hologram of his dead bunk mate) played by Chris Barrie, Kryten (an android) played by Robert Llewellyn Cat (a humanoid feline, that evolved from a cat) played by Danny John-Jules.
(l-r) Kryten, Cat, Dave Lister & Arnold Rimmer

The general plot is this... Dave Lister brings a cat onto the mining ship (spaceship) Red Dwarf and gets thrown in stasis for 18 months as punishment. But something happens and everyone on the ship dies of radiation poisoning. 3 Million years later, after the radiation on the ship has disappeared, Dave Lister gets let out of stasis. And everyone is dead...

All I can say, is it's hilarious! My favourite episode is called Quarantine. Rimmer (the hologram) gets a holovirus and goes crazy. Lets just say, it involves a Red Gingham Dress and a Penguin hand puppet called Mr Flibble (which thanks to my trip to Melbourne, I know own)....
 just watch...

I know it looks lame (it's suppose too) but it's so funny. It's one of those shows that has you quoting lines from it months after watching it. And it's a show that I can watch over and over again (which for me is quite rare) so if you haven't seen it, go to your local Blockbuster (did you see the plug??!!!) and find it, or download it, I don't care as long as you watch at least one episode.

In 2008, they released a 3 episode series, entitled Red Dwarf: Back To Earth, which was strange. It honestly confused me. It was out of line with the end of series 8, and it involved the characters on earth trying to find their creators. It was one of those lame "we probably should try and finish the series so fans don't get pissed at us" sort of things. It was just weird, because everyone was 10 years old and the episode quality was very "swoosh" it just didn't fit in.
still from Red Dwarf: Back To Earth
