Things I Love Thursday.

I got an email from Liz @ LA Weekly asking me to post some photos taken by their amazing photographer Timothy Norris of the Muse Concert @ Staples Centre last week. If you don't already know I run FuckYeahMuse on Tumblr. Well the site has been quiet from my end for the last couple of months, but last night I post some of the photos and the site has gone crazy. I love it. I just have to remember to keep it updated.

Manic Street Preachers. Well their new album anyway. Postcards From A Young Man. and do you know what is even more exciting? They're playing in Perth on November 22nd... 2 days after my birthday. I want to go, but haven't found anyone to go with me yet. =(

I did my first Collaboration on Polyvore. Here's my piece...

and here's the finished product...

I also got some mail this week.
♥ Who's Your Monkey on DVD (it's a region 1 movie with Scott Grimes and Kevin Durand in it)
♥ Predators & Legion fridge magnets... now I need a figure or something magnetic to put them on.
♥ Pedators & 3x mini Inglourious Basterds posters. I'm going to get the 3 mini posters framed.

I'm also thinking about personalized number plates for my car. They're expensive, and I don't even know if what I want is available and I have to pay with I take in the application. And $393 is alot for plates. I'll wait.

Honourable Mentions
♥ Murdock (from the A Team tv series) ♥ Chocolate chip muffins from Woolies ♥ Legion poster on my wall (now I have sexy Paul Bettany to watch over me) ♥ Big Day Out lineup being shit... so I don't want to go, which is good, because I didn't want to go, but if someone I liked was going I would of felt like I had to go... it's looking like a concert free year next year. ♥ got my Target shirt yesterday. It's a little small, but I'll survive. It's very red.

Spotted on iTunes

So when I spotted this in the iTunes store it was an automatic download. Never listened to Manic Street Preachers before, but they sure know how to make sexy album covers. TIM FUCKING ROTH for the win.

Deactivation Complete

it's done. Deactivation of facebook is complete. =D
Photobucket

I feel better already. =D

If you've been following me on Twitter you may have noticed last night I was a little emotional. Well I'm fine now... I seem to get emotional at night, just before I go to bed. I think because I spend all day with my brain going a million miles an hour, when I finally try to relax it's still moving and I think and think and overthink until I get sad. LOL. it's silly. I need to learn to relax and switch off.

It's a public holiday in Western Australia today. It's the Queen's Birthday... even though the Queen's Birthday is in June. It's also the weekend of the Perth Royal Show and the AFL Grand Final (which was a draw, so they'll have to play again next weekend.... but I hate AFL so I'm gonna leave it at that) It's also the last public holiday in WA until Christmas =( At least I get paid to not work today =D but it's also the last day I have off until October 8th... and even longer, depending on how Boss does the roster when he gets back from Turkey.

My little sister Alex is in Queensland... and today she's at MOVIE WORLD... I hate her =D But she did get me a Predators posters and is going to try and find me a Gabriel Legion poster.

I hope today, my Smokin Aces Blu-Ray, Dark Angel & A Team DVDs ship. I want to watch Smokin Aces in Blu-Ray. I really should save up for a PS3 or something.  I wonder how much I would get if I traded in my Xbox 360 and games?
it annoys me that Darwin and Lester have changed places =D
Whenever I see Chris Pine now all I can see is Darwin Tremor. Even last night watching Star Trek... he's no longer James T Kirk to me... he's Darwin Tremor.

Going for a drive with the parents.

Things I Love Thursday

Things I Love Thursday
  • Ridley Scotts' Robin Hood. It was epic. Like Gladiator but set in England and during the 13th Century. In the special features Russell (Crowe) mentions how Ridley told him to cut his hair like it was in Gladiator. Best thing about the film. Seeing Russell, Kevin Durand & Scott Grimes working together again. (Mystery, Alaska in 1998 was the last time they all worked together). Plus I no longer see Scott Grimes as Steve Smith from American Dad anymore, he was awesome, Welsh accent and all.
  • Working at Target. I still don't remember everyones names, but they're such a great group of people. The checkout girls are mostly in highschool, so it's nice to hear whats going on in the world of "non private school" teens (my sister goes to private school... not much gossip)
  • just got a message from my little sister Alex. She's in Brisbane, on her way to Hervey Bay to spend a week with her friend. So jealous, they're going to go to Movie World and Noosa... Jealous, but happy that she made it to Brisbane safely.

I Am Number Four.

I Am Number Four.
I read about this film a couple of weeks ago. And am excited. Timothy Olyphant, Kevin Durand, Alex Pettyfer. It's going to be awesome. I was searching for the trailer (which doesn't exist yet) but I found this.... which it just as awesome. Can't wait to see it. February 2011.

I managed to grab a copy of the book today. I Am Number Four by Pittacus Lore (ie James Frey and Jobie Hughes) I'm not going to start reading it until I've finished the book I'm currently reading.

Update

Not really in the mood for epic posting today.
Had a marvelous day yesterday. I did everything I planned to do. plus some more.
I watched Robin Hood. It was awesome... and not just because Kevin Durand was in it... but that did help.
I can't be bother writing a review. So just watch it.

Currently listening to the Phantom Of The Opera soundtrack (the film soundtrack) I completely forgot that Patrick Wilson (ie Night Owl from Watchmen & Agent Lynch from The A Team) sang... really well, I looked him up... and he was a singer before he was an actor. And of course... Gerard Butler singing. SWOON!

Being playing Red Dead Redemption on Xbox 360. I haven't made it very far. I have far too much fun running around shooting things. I've never been a big video game player, over than Sims... but they're open ended. Not a set levels etc. Stupid John Marston is in my dreams. Stupid Cowboys. First Pirates, then Soldiers.... now Cowboys. I honestly can't see how people can think Ninjas are cooler than Pirates and Cowboys.

Molly Is...

... going to "accidently" forget to go to Weight Watchers tomorrow. And the week after is a public holiday so there won't be a meeting. Which means I have 2 weeks to get my act together and lose some weight. I need to at least get 2kgs off in 2 weeks. It's not even that much weight. Just a 2 litre bottle of water. I CAN DO IT!

Tunesday (well not really)

Tunesday is a little early this week. Only because I'm planning not to use the internet/computer AT ALL on Tuesday. We'll see. =D

But before you read this post... EVERYONE (and I mean everyone has to go say Congrats to my blogger buddy Emma. Why? She got married yesterday!) Have you done it yet? I'm going to be checking that you leave comments =D Emma HEARTS comments! Okay... now on with the show.

I can't wait until Tuesday.
Here's the plan.
Doctors Appointment in the morning.
then Rent Robin Hood on Blu-Ray.
go for a walk.
Make yummy (but healthy) food.
Watch Robin Hood.

...and then spend the rest of the day doing NOTHING.

Can't wait.

fashion & flying

my style has changed slightly. damn that suggestible goo I call my brain.
guns. fur. corsets. brass lighters (but not to light cigarettes).
i almost used cowboy boots in the above set. COWBOY BOOTS. what is wrong with me?
damn you Kevin Durand. why did you have to be in a "western"?
why did that western have to be so freaking awesome?
I want a huge men's watch. at work (target) there are some fathers day packs that have a really nice stainless steel watch I just have to have.
It's times like this, I wish I was skinny and had a shit load of money.
I wouldn't care what people thought of me. I'd be that strange girl.
The one that, one day is wearing military inspired fashion and the next looking like a bar wench from a cowboy movie.
Albany is too small to be fashionable.

I've been listening to the same 2 songs over and over.
Hear Me Now by Secondhand Serenade and;
You're Going Down by Sick Puppies.

My body hates me.
It's the same feeling I get after I've done lots of exercise. but I haven't. I've just been getting up early and working ALL week.

I need wings. (and Kevin Durand... but that's an entirely different story)
Photobucket
it makes sense.
I love feathers. I love to fly. I want to travel.
It just seems like the best option.
well... if humans could even have wings.
I was going to say "well... if angels even existed." but they do so that would of been a lie.
don't judge me. I may not have a guardian angel at the moment.
I did. when I was little. His name was David.
He was a boy my age who had wings.
my "imaginary friend"
I'm not crazy :)

Things I Love Thursday

It's Thursday again. Isn't it amazing how often it seems to be Thursday. Everyday I wake up and there is a 1 in 7 chance that it's Thursday... I like those odds.

Things I Love Thursday is really the only consistent thing about my blog. I tried to add more days, like "Tunesday" but I just kept forgetting about it. But you've always, pretty much guaranteed that if it's Thursday.... you'll have Things I Love Thursday.

It's been a busy week. Having 2 jobs and not being very organised is quite difficult. Luckily I have some trusty highlighters to help make life a little easier...
Highlighters are awesome (note: please excuse a certain symbol... I was watching STARS... the words next to it say "who would of thought a simple collection of lines could be so evil?")

I watched 3:10 To Yuma on Tuesday night. It was awesome. I usually avoided Westerns because I found every one I'd seen boring.... but Cowboys are awesome. But even cooler... their clothes... in particular Charlie Princes jacket...
I need his Jacket. He was definitely the best dressed and Ben Foster (who played Charlie) was excellent. I remember him in a movie I've been looking for for ages called Get Over It. It was so funny. Then he was angel in X-Men The Last Stand... and you all know how I feel about angels *wink wink*

There is also this Jacket. This is a screenshot from the music video for Kings & Queens by 30 Seconds To Mars (it recently won a VMA). That jacket is awesome... it's military and orange... what more do you want? Finding an awesome jacket like that is not hard.... finding one in my size.... impossible. I LOVE JACKETS!
Bounty Hunter

The book I'm currently reading, One For The Money by Janet Evanovich is about a female bounty hunter. I love it. I read from page 17 to page 145 last night, hence my minor obsession with bounty hunters.

I'm off now. TA-RA

STARS

Last night, during my daily view of Kevin Durand's filmography on IMDB (I check it daily just in case something changes =D) I noticed a short film that he did. I clicked on it and read the plot. I had to watch it. It was about a Nazi soldier (Durand) who had deserted his battalion, who comes across an American. I had to find it. Well I found it, and not only did I find it, but it was in HD and posted on Youtube by the Director, Jason Eli Lewis. It only goes for 14 minutes. But it really got to me, especially part 2. You don't have to watch it, but I've embedded the videos, so if you do, you don't have to spend hours searching.

STARS part 1 (of 2)

STARS part 2 (of 2)

Short Post - Mostly about weird dream.

Don't really know if I have anything interesting to say. I really should stoping blogging for the sake of blogging. If I actually did anything interesting, that people were actually interested in reading. I know there are a lot of people out there that do read my blog, and I really appreciate you. I'm not going to bitch about how no-one comments, because, well I don't comment on many peoples blogs either... and I know you're there. *waves*

I had the strangest dream last night. Yesterday I took a Duromine (I haven't really taken then very often in the last few weeks) and last night I just couldn't get to sleep. And when I did, I had the weirdest dream... bordering on nightmare. I was standing on the edge of a ravine. On the side I was one, there was nothing, on the other side a city garden, with huge trees and nice flowers. It was very peaceful. I had to jump, but I couldn't. I never looked over the edge, but I somehow knew there was rough water down there. I wasn't frighten, just frustrated. I never jumped. I just sat down. Quite strange.

13/09/10

Currently Downloading Season 4 of LOST, for one reason....
...This Man...
Martin Keamy
played by Kevin Durand.

Today was my first "real" shift at Target.
I got to standing at the entrance and say hello to everyone.
and check their bags.
and generally be nice and smilely.
for 5 hours!
it was awesome.
I had a conversation with an older man about DVDs for about 40 minutes.
then he left.
then 2 hours later he came back because he wanted to tell me about a book series.
a series by Janet Evanovich.
I'm having a look now.
He was such a nice man.
Him and his wife travel around australia in a motor home.
I'll do that one day.

Off to Weight Watchers now.

Melissa is...

... running out of Kevin Durand films and tv series to watch...

Last nights dinner was fun, even if the place I work was bitched about. LOL. It's not her fault she didn't know I worked there, and its not her fault she didn't know anything about the prices. "who would go to Blockbuster, it's so expensive." hahaha LOL, well let me ask you this. how are you math skills? It's $3.50 a night for a new release at Video Ezy, and $5.00 for TWO nights for a new release at Blockbuster.... Hmmmmm. Anyway. That's the last I'll say on the matter.

I'm a little freaked out about starting at Target tomorrow... For real. There are so many people working there, so many names to remember.

I want to apologies for the overload of Kevin Durand spammage... Especially on my Tumblr. I'm sure I'll get over it soon :)

Today & The Future

just went into Target. got to walk into the staff room... cos I'm freaking awesome. I bought DVDs... again. I got:
  • Doctor Who Series 5 Volume 3 on Blu-Ray
  • The Book Of Eli on Blu-Ray and;
  • Mystery, Alaska on DVD (this is my current favourite Kevin Durand film) and I love the fact that it also has Russell Crowe and Scott Grimes in it... for all the "not obsessed with films" people... Russell Crowe, Scott Grimes and Kevin Durand are all in Robin Hood (Robin, Will Scarlett and Little John respectively) I can't wait to see Kevin Durand as Little John. yeah I know... just sit there and roll your eyes.
Tonight I'm going out with my friends. We are going to the only Japanese restaurant in town. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm looking forward to a lot of things.
  • Dinner tonight with friends
  • First "real" day at Target on Monday (I'm a Greeter... I get to spend 5 hours standing at the entrance saying hello to everyone)
  • Weight Watchers... I hope I've lost weight. I'm a little unsure because I'm going to the 5.30pm meeting and you always weigh a little more in the evenings.
  • Robin Hood on Blu-Ray in 2 weeks
  • Film releases for October... Disneys' Beauty and the Beast, Iron Man 2, The A Team, Legion.
  • Film releases for November... Predators
  • My birthday
  • MUSE Concert
  • Christmas =D
I'm positive there is stuff I'm forgetting, and there is surely stuff that hasn't even been planned yet.

Top 5 Celeb Male Crushes.

First things first. You guys have to realise how hard this is going to be for me. Just 5. That's like telling a bird not to fly. So I'm going to cheat a little and do my current Top 5 Celeb Male Crushes. I think that will be easier.

Current Top 5 Celeb Male Crushes

1. Kevin Durand
He's not really the sort of guy I'm attracted too. He's tall, 6'6. And very muscular... which I've never been attracted too before.... until Kevin. his role as the angel Gabriel in Legion is what did it for me. And since watching Legion last week, I've watched 5 other movies with Kevin. Smokin Aces, 3.10 To Yuma, X-Men Origins - Wolverine, Walking Tall and Mystery, Alaska.

2. Sharlto Copley
Don't act so surprised.
Sharlto. He's only EVER been in 2 movies. District 9 and The A Team. Before District 9 he had NEVER acted before in his life... and considering half the script of District 9 was improv... I can pretty much say he's one of the best actors in the world.
I love his accent. That's what did it. His South African accent... As well as being good looking.

3. Tim Roth
all I need to say is one word....
HOT!
that is all.

4.Eli Roth
Just hot... especially when he's covered in fake blood and dirt.
I have no SHAME!

5. Paul Bettany
Paul is a strange one. My crushes on him don't last long, but they are quite frequent.
He did films and played the skinny, weedy underdog. He was cute, but nothing exciting. But then he played Silas in The Da Vinci Code... Paul Bettany as a bad guy???!!! That lasted for a while and then nothing.... until Inkheart. Paul Bettany as Dust Finger... then he took his shirt off.... OH EM GEE. He was no longer the skinny weedy underdog, he had muscles! Then Legion. he was the reason I wanted to watch Legion. I can't wait to see Priest.
also his voice. When I heard his voice in Iron Man I seriously had a fit, I was so excited. How lucky is Tony Stark to have a computer that sounds like Paul Bettany?

Okay, I admit that was a lot harder than I thought =D
I hope you enjoy.

Who are your Top 5 Celeb Male Crushes?
