In the Mail...

HARD WORK NOTEBOOK!
Every now and then I get on Kickstarter and look through the projects for something interesting. There is so much crap on there... it's sometimes hard to find the diamonds in the rough! This week I found Hard Work Notebook by Hundred Million... beautifully made notebooks with pages made from stone! I'm crazy about notebooks... I have many, but this one really stuck with me... I bookmarked it and continued searching. I kept going back to it, re-reading the information. I decided to back them. It cost me £14 and I get one Hard Work Notebook. What I love about this notebook is the Isometric print on the pages instead of lines. It creates a beautiful, adaptable, creative area to write or draw or design!
I'm very excited to receive my Hard Work Notebook. It's due to be shipped in September, and as soon as it's arrived I will do a post about it!

FAN CLUB BADGES
Another awesome item I have coming in the mail is Fan Club Badges from Your Fan Club on etsy. I ordered 4, Benedict Cumberbatch fan club, Cat fan club, Dinosaur fan club, and Carl Sagan fan club.
I have some suggestions of pins I want... Neil Degrasse Tyson, Edmond Halley, The Yogscast, The Hound (GOT), Harry Potter etc.

DADS: A FIELD GUIDE
I've been wanting to buy this book since I saw it, but when I went back to buy it, it was gone. I've been watching it's price online for over a year, I refuse to pay more than $15 for a children's book! It finally dropped to $9.99 on Fishpond.com.au so I ordered it... all ready for Fathers Day in September...
It's a guide to all the different sorts of Dads in the world... like Rock N Roll Dad, Geek Dad, Sports Dad etc. The Geek Dad page is my favourite, when I get the book I will show you. It's full of awesome geekiness!

I love getting mail, but I really need to stop spending money and start saving.
Thanks for reading :D

Hopeless Wanderer

GOT & Music!

GAH! Alexander Siddig is going to play Doran Martell in Season 5 of Game of Thrones! I'm so freaking excited! I've been in love with him since he played Dr Julian Bashir in Star Trek Deep Space Nine! (he was my favourite character... please note I was 10!) I was so excited when I watched the Game of Thrones: Season 5 - New Cast Members video! It's going to be so cool to see Dorne and Oberons' children! So very excited for season 5... even if it will most likely lack The Hound!

The #SDCC news this week hasn't been overly exciting (but considering I haven't had much time to check much of it out) I'm sure as more and more gets mentioned over the week, it will get better! I wish I was there... like millions of other people!

I received a huge shock this morning while watching music tv... the video for Hopeless Wanderer by Mumford & Sons came on... and I was expecting to see the boys... not Ed Helms, Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte! I know it's almost a year old... but seriously almost choked on my breakfast! BEST. MUSIC. VIDEO. EVER!!! If you have't seen it... WATCH IT!

I love rediscovering bands. I loved Mumford & Sons when they first released Little Lion Man, but I seem to miss when bands release new songs and albums... so I forget about them... (I don't listen to the radio) But when I find them again! YAY New Music!

That's all for today. Please recommend some music for me to check out in the comments :D

Things I Love Thursday

After Ever After 2 - Paint - My sister showed me this video a little while ago, but I've only just got around to posting it. This guy is a genius! If you haven't seen After Ever After part 1 click here... he also did Harry Potter in 99 Seconds (which is genius!)

♥ The Queen's Guard play the Game Of Thrones theme song at the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.

♥ I am yet to finish The Magicians by Lev Grossman (yeah, I'm a slow reader)... but OMG I'm starting to get really into it! Book 3 in out in August. I'm very excited about getting the box set once it's out to add to my ever growing book collection!

The Lion King (Original Broadway Cast Recording) has been playing on repeat ever since I got back from Sydney! The Lion King was AMAZING! The costumes, the sets, the lighting, and of course the actors/singers were freaking amazing!!!

The Book Group - it can only be describe as a Scottish soap opera from 2003. It was super tragic, and trashy.... but amazing, I couldn't stop watching. There are only 2 series. It's about an American woman who moved to Scotland and started a book group to meet people. What ensues is a collection of random characters, including 3 football wives (one from Netherlands, one from Sweden and one from Scotland) who are all have marital issues... a closeted gay football fan (who's sleeping with one of the husbands), a drug addicted literature student, and a man in a wheelchair (played by The Hound from Game Of Thrones (Rory McCann).... the reason I watched in the first place). It's hard to explain. My poor bestie Emma, received many frustrated messages about how much I hated certain characters... and then loved them, then hated them... I think in the end she was just ignoring them!
I had to buy the 2 series on DVD from Fishpond... I'm not sure were in the world you will find it!

What have you loved this week? let me know in the comments, I'm always looking for new awesome things to look at :D

Molly is....

... very sad to hear the news of Dave Legenos' death. He played Fenrir Greyback in Harry Potter. He was hiking in Death Valley in the US, and some hikers found his body. They are saying he died of heatstroke, what a horrible way to die!
Pretty much everyone who knows me, knows I have a soft spot for Fenrir Greyback and it's so sad to hear of Daves' death. My heart goes out to his friends and family. RIP Dave Legeno!

Sydney Trip Photos Part 1

A few of my favourite photos from my trip to Sydney!

I had so much fun. My favourite bits were seeing The Lion King, and going to Katoomba and seeing the Three Sisters and Scenic World.

Stay tuned for more!

Quick Update

My holidays have started a few days early, thanks to my good friend gastro :( Well, he's not my good friend... more like my arch nemesis!
So... no work until July 21st.
Flying to Sydney on 5th July! I'm very excited.

I have officially started my Diploma of Children's Services traineeship at work!

I have so many blogging ideas, I just don't know how to get them out of my head and onto the page... or screen! I'm just so busy working full-time, that when I'm home, I just want to watch youtube and make sets on polyvore and read everyone else's blogs. Plus, if I'm adding study onto that... it gives me even less time to blog :) So I apologise in advance for only ever posting Things I Love Thursday and "Update" posts... and also apologise for the sheer lack of posts :D
