Badge Trade Idea

I was bored over the weekend, so I made some badges. I posted them on Instagram and some people showed some interest. I thought about setting up an Etsy store, or some other online store, but have decided that I will just organise a Badge Trade.

The idea is, you send me a badge (either geek related, or about where you live, or anything really) and I send you one that I made. You can choose one I make, or I can send you a random one from a fandom of your choice :D

I am planning on making some badges over the next couple of weeks. I personally don't believe the badges are good enough to sell (my printer is shit, and the badges are never centred :( ) but I'm happy to trade badges with you!

If you're interested, send me an email mollyskywalker1986[at]gmail.com and we'll get our trading on :D

The Fine Print... kinda :)

I will accept button badges, pins or brooches of your choice, whether from a fandom, or maybe from your town/city (I love travel stuff) NO POLITICAL BADGES OR BRAND PROMOTION BADGES!

I will make you a badge from a fandom of your choice (you can even send me a photo and I will try and make a badge of that, or link me to your blog/tumblr and I will figure something out) if you don't specify what you want, I will send a generic one.

Badges will be posted in an envelope at the cheapest postage available to your country (i.e. it could take awhile) and I will probably include a letter or note :)

Hope you're interested! This could be awesome fun!

Solar Eclipse!

There was a solar eclipse today!
It was awesome.
I bought some solar eclipse glasses off eBay a couple of weeks ago, and have been waiting for this day, for a very long time!
It was cloudy, but luckily the clouds cleared a little, enough to get some sneaky peeks as the moon crossed between us and the sun!
When I first looked up at the sun and saw the tiniest part of darkness, I was so overwhelmed, and in awe of how amazing it all was! As I kept checking and more and more of the moon moved across, it just got better!
Mum mentioned she had read something about some visiting astronomers from the US setting up down at the Entertainment Centre, so we head down, expecting it to be packed, to find the astronomers and 4 other people. It was a very upsetting turn out, but that meant more chance to chat to them. One of them is Professor Jay M. Pasachoff. I had never heard of him before, but after googling him when I got home I saw that he is a rather prominent astronomer and scientist. He told me of all his travels and how he never misses a solar eclipse. Albany, so it seems, was the best place (aside from Antarctica) to see this eclipse, and what we sure of it (stupid clouds) was amazing!
the setup. that's the other astronomer and his wife (I assume), I didn't catch their names
It upsets me a little, that so many people didn't realise what was happening just above their heads, that the newspaper had done this tiny article, on the 6th page. There was no mention of it anywhere, the schools couple of come down and listened to the Professors talk about it. It would of been really wonderful. Nobody really cares about science :(

The next eclipse in Albany is in 2023, but you can look online to see when there is one closer to you.

Have you ever seen a solar eclipse? Where you in as much awe as I was? Comment and let me know!

Mini Adventure!

I'm back from my mini shopping adventure to Perth.
I went with mum on Friday. The plan was to go to IKEA, but we did a few other things as well.

On Friday, being ANZAC Day, everything in the city was closed, so we took the train to Fremantle, which was VERY busy. We did a quick walk around the Fremantle Markets (where I bought some yummy Macarons) and then headed down the the boat harbour to get some fish and chips from Cicerellos :) YUM!

Central Park building and the beautiful blue sky. After that it started rainy, the first rain in Perth all April
Macarons... Cookies & Cream (x2), Rose, Vanilla, Pistashio (my fave),
Banana Bread, Coconut & Raspberry
Cicerello's Landing! Best Fish & Chips in WA!
YUM!
We then head back to the hotel. Mum went to the Casino, and I hung around the hotel. I had a yummy burrito and churros for dinner and watched some TV. We had some VERY loud neighbours... and by 10.30pm I was over it and was going to complain, but then they left. They must of been getting ready to go out.

On Saturday, we went to IKEA. I met up with my friend Emma and we spent 3 hours wandering around the showrooms, chatting and looking at everything. We had breakfast and went down to the IKEA Market Place and spent all out MONEY! Mum and I spent almost $300 :O

After we went back to the city and I ventured into the city to do some shopping! I went to Quality Comics and bought Ms Marvel #3, Adventure Time vol. 4 and Before Watchman Nite Owl / Dr. Manhatten. I went to Tokyo Underground (who aren't underground anymore, but up a very steep set of stairs) and found these....
... I can finally add Sandor Clegane aka The Hound (from Game Of Throne) and Judge Dredd to my Pop! Vinyl collection! YAY! I also made it to Typo (and bought lots of stationery and a backpack) and to Lush! to buy bath bombs! So many beautiful bath bombs... it was hard to choose!
That night mum and I journeyed through the rain, into Northbridge to go to Hogs Breath Cafe. I was in the middle of developing a cold (which I have now) so we ate quickly and journeyed back to the hotel.

On Sunday, we checked out and made our way to Westfield Carousel for more shopping, I went into Kikki K and bought an awesome whale laptop cover (photo soon). Then we had lunch and journeyed home.

What a crazy weekend. I ended up with a cold, and I'm so happy that I booked off today and tomorrow, months ago. Hopefully I will feel better by Wednesday.

There is a Solar Eclipse tomorrow, but they're forecasting rain all day, so I probably won't get the chance to see it :(

How was your weekend? Did you do anything exciting?

Wednesday Wishlist - Lumberjack Version!

Wow! This weeks wishlist is looking very lumberjack-y! Probably thanks to the release of the first Lumberjanes comic book. I have a digital copy but am looking forward to getting a hard copy of it soon!!
Wednesday Wishlist

1. ASOS Aztec Pattern Scarf - Love the colours, love the print! I love big bright scarves. I have lots. I need more!

2. Vintage Flannelette Shirts - I bought my first ever flannelette shirt from the mens department at Kmart. It's green, and super warm! I can wear it casually, or wear it with a dress and add a belt! I love it!

3. Lumberjanes #1  - I've been waiting for this comic since I first heard about it, through creator Noelle on Tumbr. It's finally hear and it is so worth it!!

4. Love Heart Leg Warmers - It's getting cold. It's very hard for me to buy tights and leggings in my size in any colour other than black, so leg warmers (or funky knitted socks) seem like the best idea!

5. Kraken Attack Necklace by The Gorgonist - I LOVE PIRATES! Their history, their myths and legends. This necklace is amazing! You also need to check out the other art and necklaces available! They're amazing!

6. Turquoise Rose Stockings - I found these tights on polyvore! AND I NEED THEM!

*****

Tomorrow I will post Things I Love Thursday, and then I'm off for the weekend. We have another Long Weekend (2 in 2 weeks) because it's Anzac Day on Friday. I'm heading to Perth with mum, to do some shopping (comic books, lush & IKEA) and pick up a typewriter! YAY!

If you don't follow me on Twitter or Instagram, head across and follow to see what I'll be up to on the weekend! :)

Level-Up 20/04-26/04

Sleep Better -  FAIL - On no day during the week did I get up at 6.30am, and my bedtime was very inconsistent! Maybe next week!

Stay on top of the Washing - FAIL - The washing is still on the bathroom floor :( I need to do the washing!

Finish a Scrapbook Layout - SUCCESS - Finished my cousin Logan's 5th Birthday layout. I showed it to his mother and she loved it so much! I took some decorations from his party and used it in the layout, I also added some photos of his little brother. My scrapbook is probably going to be full of them by the end of the year!!
I also finished my layout based on my bestest friend, Emma. I sent her a photo of it and she loved it too. I added in her favourite poem, and some star glitter (which she through at me when she came down for my birthday (she hid herself in a giant box)) WARNING there is mention of certain male appendages (due to there being a rock in town that looks like one)

This Weeks Goals
This Friday is ANZAC Day. I was planning on getting up and going to the dawn service, but mum and I are going to Perth, so we might leave early in the morning to avoid the traffic. One of my goals was going to be Anzac Dawn Service, but maybe next year.

Clean My Room - It's a mess and very unorganised. It has to be done!

Do Some Baking - I have 3 box cake packets hanging around, and I bought some popping candy to put on the top! YUM! I will try and take some photos to share with you.

Don't Stress Out About Going To Perth - It's just Mum and I going. It's going to be fun. It's been awhile since I've been away with mum. The plan is to pick up a typewriter I found on Gumtree (Aussie version of Craigslist) and then go to IKEA, the comic book store (for Ms Marvel & Lumberjanes) and Lush!

Hope everyone had a great week and achieved their goals!

The "Spring" Tag

Happy Easter everyone!

I've been tagged to do "The Spring Tag" by the awesome Kerry @ Kerry's Nerdy Habitat! I'm very excited, but going to mix it up a little... since I live in the Southern Hemisphere, Spring is still a couple months away (WINTER IS COMING) So I'm going to do the "Spring Autumn Tag" :)

1. What’s your favourite nail colour for Spring (Autumn)?
The thing I love most about Autumn is the ability to wear darker colours and not be cooked when the sun shines. I don't wear nail polish, but I know as the weather gets colder it's time to take better care of your nails. Using hand lotions, minimising how much nail polish remover you use (it drys your nails) and just keep up you nail care.
The colours I'm loving for Autumn/Winter are pretty much the colours I love all year around. Black, Grey, Silver, Olive, Dark Green & Teal.
2. Best drink for Spring (Autumn)?
I'm not a fan of hot drinks (I always always burn my tongue or mouth) but as it gets colder, I go looking for drinks a little bit more substantial than water. Warm Milo, or hot chocolate! YUM!
3. What goes on your lips in Spring (Autumn)?
Lip balm, lots of lip balm! I'm heading to Perth next weekend to go to Lush, to get myself some lip scrub. In the cold weather my lips get very very dry and start to peel, it's gross! So I need to stock up on some lip scrub and a chapstick :)

4. What’s your favourite thing about Spring (Autumn)?
The cold. I love the brisk, clear, cold evenings. I can finally get my scarves out, I can layer my clothes, wear jeans without people judging me (I wear jeans in Summer too) and just snuggle up in bed on cold nights!

5. Best perfume for Spring (Autumn)?
I'm still rocking Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh. It's my favourite (I bought 3 bottles when they were on special) It works all year around, but especially in autumn and winter, when you don't have to worry about covering the smell of sweaty yucks! (stupid summer)
6. What TV series are you watching the most at the moment?
Game of Thrones. Series 4 is being releases every Monday as we speak, I'm rewatching series 2 and 3... I'm very excited of things to come!
I'm also enjoying re-watching South Park, as politically incorrect and silly it is, I'm still loving it. It's bringing back memories of trying to secretly recording it, (because it was on past bedtime and dad didn't like me watching it)

7. Do you wear a different colour eye shadow in Spring (Autumn)?
Smokey eyes! Black, black and black! Rimmel and Nude are my favourite makeup brands. I don't wear much makeup but I recently discovered Scandal Eyes Eye Shadow Pencils. It's pretty much a thick eye liner pencil :D They come in dark colours, like matte black, sparkly black, forest green and dark blues, but also some really nice "frosty" colours, like icy blue and pink! I love them, it makes putting eye shadow on even easier!
I'm loving these 3 colours the most. I have the plain black and the green so far.

8. Do you change your hair for the changing season?
I recently had my hair cut very short. I love it, it's so easy. I'm not a morning person, and as the days get shorter it gets harder and harder to get out of bed for work. So my hair is usually not even brushed, just pushed back with a headband or a clip. Nice and simple :D

9. What kind of music do you listen do in Spring (Autumn)?
I started my Autumn playlist of Spotify, check it out! But my music choice doesn't change much between seasons. I don't listen to the radio, so I don't know what is popular etc. My music choices depend on what I hear when I'm on the net, what other bloggers post about etc.

10. What kind of fashion items/accessories do you opt for in Spring (Autumn)?
Scarves! Lots of scarves in all different colours. I usually wear black, so having a pop of colour from a scarf makes an outfit an outfit :D I love scarves, the quirkier the better!

May I present my Autumn Moodboard!! Inspired by flannel shirts, tea leaves, succulent gardens and moon shine!
Autumn Moodboard

Hope you enjoyed the post. Anyone is welcome to do this tag.

Are you looking forward to Spring/Autumn? Let me know what you are looking forward to most in the comments!

Show Off Your Geek Space #GeekSpace

#GeekSpace

It's time. I've been talking about this for a little while. The project has evolved from Geek Shelves, to geek space.
The Idea:
Show off your Geek Space. It could be your room, your office, your living room, even your kitchen. You can include what's on shelves, you can show off a little or a lot! There really are no rules. Now go on and show us your #GeekSpace. When you're done send mollyskywalker[at]gmail.com an email and she'll add it to the #GeekSpace master list(You're welcome to use the image above for your post if you like)

My Geek Space is my room! I love to have things on display, (hence the Geek Shelves) and it always looks a little messy and unorganised, but I have people comment on how much they would love time just to look through everything. Everytime I look at my geek shelf, I see something different. Somethings have special meaning, somethings are just awesome. I love picture books, especially about films and tv shows, I also have a lot of video game guide books.

So take a look! (I didn't describe everything on the shelves... if you see something and want some more info/photos, just let me know :D)
The whole shelf... in all it's glory! It's very brown... brown was the only choice I had. I would of preferred white... maybe in the future :)

What can you see? 10th Doctor print from Stewart McKenny (on wall), Creeper, Unicorn from Toy Story 3 (who I call Captain Sparkles), Tribble, Vincent Valentine from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children, Sup----per Grover, Ryuk from Death Note, Sirius Black, Sips & Sjin (The Yogscast) plushies (made by my sister for my birthday) BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!

Boba Fett Mighty Mugg (remember those?) Sackboy from Little Big Planet, Cigar Boxes full of feathers, MORE BOOKS, Including my ever growing collection of Penguin Classics.

Fluttershy, Derpy & Rainbow Dash, Lord Of The Rings & Hobbit books... Lego, Neil Gaiman books, Harry Potter, Video game guides!

MORE BOOKS! Harry Potter money, T2 Tea (which I bought just for the tin)

My favourite books... most Art of film & tv books! Harry Potter wands... I have Severus Snape, Sirius Black, The Elder Wand, Scabior & Fenrir Greybacks wands. Jack my teddy from when I was a baby, Dr Whooves figure, Big Bang Theory cross stitch!

Crafty stuff, perfume & jewellery box, paint brush collection :), (very small) Comic book collection, Childrens books and Childcare stuff!

I didn't show the bottom row because it's just a mess of boxes and unorganised chaos! Across the top is mostly storage, including my (unfinished legos) and old stuff that hasn't come out of the box since I moved in!

Other #GeekSpaces

I can't wait to see what everyone has to offer.

Fashion Inspiration - Animated Girls

A few other awesome bloggers have been doing fashion inspiration posts, so I decided to do some for myself. May I present some of my favourite animated girls!

Turanga Leela
Turanga Leela
Turanga Leela by princessgeek86

Leela... the coolest one-eyed purple haired space pilot, from one of my favourite tv series of all time, Futurama. (I realised today that The Nerdy Girlie did a Professor Farnsworth fashion set... (check it out... it's AWESOME!!) I just want to say that I'm not copying your idea, I hope you don't mind!! I planned this post in advance... Great minds think alike :D)

Pinkie Pie
Pinkie Pie

Pinkie Pie by princessgeek86

PINKIE PIE - My favourite Pony... well I love them all! I love Pinkie's attitude to life, always happy, always friendly... I think she would be an awesome person to hang out with... if she wasn't an animated magic pony! WATCH VID!

Now to some of the sassiest animated girls!

Debbie Thornberry
Debbie Thornberry

Debbie Thornberry by princessgeek86

Debbie Thornberry - I have ALWAYS loved The Wild Thornberries. I loved Eliza, because she could talk to animals and was Nerdy, but still awesome, I loved Nigel... because he's just awesome full stop (Tim Curry!!!) but I always had a soft spot for Debbie I guess it was because I was probably around her age when I started watching... she was sassy and moody, and a typical teenager!!

Daria
Daria

Probably my favourite and the one I can relate too most, Daria. She was in my life during my "Goth" phase... and is probably the reason for it. I say "Goth" but it wasn't the full on typical Goth (because I went to a private school with light blue and navy uniforms) it was the self dyed black hair, the black eyeliner (which I would always have to wash off at school because of the no-makeup rule) and honestly... I think it was just because that was the phase my friends were going through and I wanted to fit in. I could go on for DAYS about how much high school sucked, but I won't, all I will say if Daria helped me deal with it :)

~~~~
Hope you enjoyed this post. If you have any suggestions for my next lot of fashion sets, let me know in the comments.
I also received a lot of feedback on my Geek Shelves idea. It has involved into a Geek Space idea, but can still include your favourite geek shelf (I know mine does) I will let everyone know more details as it comes... but start thinking... start taking photos... I think it will just end up as a quick "Show us your Geek Space" prompt for you to do on your own blog! Let me know :)
Things I Love Thursday + Blogging Idea
Waterlogue - an app for your iPhone that turns your photos into beautiful water colours. I'm addicted! I've gone through all my older photos and turned them into beautiful water colours.
My beautiful cousin Seth watching a polaroid photo of himself appear before his eyes!
(l-r) Original Photo, Natural filter, "It's Technical" filter (my favourite) (click to see the images)
There are 12 different water colour filters, and as the filter is loading you get this really lovely loading screen, where it paints each of the colours to show the whole image! It really is beautiful. I tried it out on some images of space and I got this most amazing image!
I wish I was that good at water colour. It is and always has, been my paint of choice. This is now my phone background and lock screen :)
♥ Long weekend starts tomorrow... 4 days off, followed by a 3 day work week, followed by another 3 day long weekend (which I've extended to 5 days!) YAY! Heading to Perth on the second long weekend to hopefully pick up a typewriter and go to IKEA!
♥ Making some embellishment for my scrapbooking using my badge maker (another failed hobby) at least I'm using what I have and not buying lots of new stuff! :) I went into Red Dot (a cheap variety store) and found stick on gems pack and glitter alpha stickers for $1 each, and went crazy! I know have enough stick on gems to sink a battleship!
♥ Working with children... get Easter gifts from parents! :)
♥ My first scrapbooking supplies parcel arrived today! I had kind of forgotten what I ordered, so it was a surprise... even if something was out of stock and I got something I swear I didn't order... but it's pretty cool anyway!
Received some more boyish stuff, so hopefully I will be able to finish my cousins 5th Birthday page. It looks pretty awesome now, just wait until I add some more awesome stuff!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Thanks for reading.
I'm thinking of doing a post about Geek Shelves, and inviting people to show off their "Geek Shelves". If you're interested leave me a comment and I might start to actually organise something :)
Liebster Award... again!!!
I received about Liebster Award, this time from Kelsey at April Sprinkles, because I already did one last week, I'm just going to answer the questions Kelsey has posted! To see my last Liebster Award, CLICK HERE!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
1.) If you could dye your hair any color/colors without any negative affects (physical or society wise) what color(s) would you choose? If you're not interested in any particular color, what style would you try?
I've always wanted to have Teal hair! I love the colour. Whether it's a pastel teal, the whole head or just a few strands and the full on bright! I would love to have "Mermaid Hair" as my kids at work call it!
I have short hair at the moment. I was planning on growing my hair long, but gave up (because I'm too lazy to take care of it myself!!!) and cut it! But I would love to have long hair and dye it pastel rainbow!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
2.) What's your favorite one-liner from a movie or quote from a book?
"My name is Inigo Montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die!" from The Princess Bride :) Thats the first thing that popped into my head when I read the question!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
3.) Light side or the dark side? Jedi or Sith? (Or any other good vs. evil references you care to use.) Which side would you be on?
So hard! Personality wise... I would be on the light side (i.e. the Order of the Phoenix) but I choice wise (purely for pure love of certain characters) I would be on the dark side (i.e. the Death Eaters) maybe I could be like Snape, and be on both sides!!!! Plus I get an awesome tattoo and can summon Voldemort anytime I want to hang out with him!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
4.) If you could have an unlimited supply of something, other than money, gold, or anything that can be traded for goods, what would it be?
Super Fast Internet with unlimited downloads, anywhere I am (even in the middle of nowhere)
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
5.) Favorite snack you probably shouldn't eat but do anyway because it's so delicious?
Chocolate in general...
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Thanks for the award Kelsey. Remember to check my first Liebster Award post to see if you were tagged! :)
13 April 2014
Level-Up 13/04-19/04
I have borrowed this format from Steph @ Nerdjoy! I'm already doing a monthly recap, but I thought a weekly post about the goals for the past and coming weeks could help me actually start to achieve some goals! This post could become a fortnightly thing, or possibly be used to re-brand the monthly recap, but we will see. Do you like my banner? I used Polyvore to make it!
This Weeks Goals
Taking a leaf out of Steph's book, I'm going to borrow (again) some of her goals, until I can work out some of my own. Most of my goals are a larger timeframe... 2014 Bucket List, 30 Before 30 etc.
Sleep Better -  I work full time. I start at 8.15am on Monday-Wednesday, 8.45am on Thursday & 8.30am on Friday. I find it very hard to get up at on Mon-Wed, but have no trouble on Thu-Fri (even though it's only 15-30min later start) I need to start getting up at 6.30am. That will give me time to get ready (without rushing), eat breakfast (which I don't usually) and then still relax before work. This means probably keeping bedtimes consistent, not 9pm one night, midnight the next. On weekends my body wakes me up at 8am, no matter what time I go to bed.
Stay on top of the Washing - instead of letting it pile up on the bathroom floor until next Sunday night, when I freak because all my work clothes are dirty! So the idea is, try and do washing twice a week. Sunday (just done) and then on Wednesday evening :)
Finish a Scrapbook Layout - Since I really started scrapbooking, I am yet to finish a full page. I have lots of half finished pages. I'm still waiting on some resources, so hopefully this week, I will be able to finish a layout!
That's all I could think of. Not too many for the first week! Now to see how I manage!
<3 Molly
11 April 2014
Show & Tell.
Show & Tell - the moment of the week where I let you know what I've been up to. Part life update, part show off! I've decided to split it into categories, feel free to skip parts if you're not interested :)
Now, on with the show!
Work.
This week was pretty weird. Without going into too much details, my work is now without a director. The whole dynamic of the centre has changed (for the good) The tension is gone. I feel weird because  last weeks post "Currently..." I mentioned I wanted the tension at world to disappear... and well, it has!
I'm also very excited, next week I have a meeting about doing my Diploma in Children's Services as a traineeship through work. The idea of studying AND working was too much, but this way, I will be assessed on what I do at work already! Plus, hopefully the centre will get some money from the government (which will be an amazing help)!
Craft.
In other news. I went to Spotlight and bought A LOT of scrapbooking supplies. They were all on special! Lots of letter stickers, paper and embellishments! I'm waiting on some my page protectors so I can try some new designs. I need to start planning some spreads :D
April Studio Calico pack - Blue Grass
I also started a Studio Calico Project Life subscription (every month a box of scrapbooking stuff!!) (to add to my Loot Crate and Nerd Block subscriptions :D) I have also ordered lots of scrapbooking supplies off the internet! I don't even remembered what I ordered, it's going to be an exciting surprise! I must say, I have spent way too much money on this hobby then I should of... and I may spend a small amount of time with regret, but think of all the beautiful things I can make!!
The next purchase will be a printer, and I wouldn't mind a little sewing machine... it can be old, as long as it works :)
Geek.
Been watching Cosmos. I love it! The universe is amazing! I just can't comprehend how big it is. Plus Neil Degrasse Tyson is awesome!
GAME OF THRONES is back! more Hound, more Brienne of Tarth... (I ship Jamie & Brienne) more awesome! I love it!
gif from Cosmochoria Kickstarter
I backed Cosmochoria on Kickstarter after seeing Simon & Lewis of The Yogscast play it! It's a beautiful looking space game! The idea is to plant seeds and help them grow on planets, in return the planets give you life, there are aliens to fight, and a boss! I have access to Alpha and am looking forward to giving it a go.
Haven't had the chance to play Goat Simulator yet, but the creators have said online that they are working on a Mac version! Hopefully soon!
Liebster Award ♥
I'm been nominated for the Liebster Award, and I'm very excited! It's the first ever blog award I've been nominated for! For those who don't really know what a Liebster Award is, check out this quick post about the "rules" {pretty much... you get nominated by someone, they send you questions, you answer the questions, then write your own questions and then nominate another blog... EASY}
I was nominated by Steph from Nerdjoy! Check out her post here! I was so excited to be nominated that I told a non-blogging work colleague, who now thinks I'm a weirdo! But I don't care! Stupid Muggle! Anyway on to Stephs' questions!!!
♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
1. What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
I think the good thing about being a geek, is you don't really have to feel guilty about stupid things you love, it's who we are! I guess one that freaks everyone out a little {Americans will understand} is peanut butter with chocolate! It's not a big thing in Australia, and from my experiences, peanut butter from USA is a lot sweeter than Australian peanut butter... I might be wrong. Salty peanut butter with chocolate... OMFG Amazeballs!!
2. Who would be in your dream Comic Con meet and greet?
I've met my favourite actor {twice} already :D
I guess the best Comic Con meet and greet would be ensemble cast, like ALL the dwarves from The Hobbit, or even better the WHOLE Fellowship of the Rings (including Sean Bean)... yeah that's it! The fellowship!
3. Spa day! What would be your ideal way to unwind?
I've never been to a spa! I don't really find it appealing (being an introvert and all!) So an unwind day, would probably just be a day at home, watching some movies, reading a book, gardening, maybe baking :)
4. What has been your greatest achievement in life?
I don't know! I haven't really done much in my life so far! I'm proud of this blog, I'm proud of the sort of the person I've become, I'm proud of my brain and my knowledge :)
5. How would you describe your blog in five words?
Crazy Princess Geek of Awesome!
So it's time for my questions and who I'm going to nominate! I hope you take the time to answer my questions :D
I nominate:
The Emmy Chronicles (a blog so new... it has no posts, but is still deserving!)
Here are my questions:
1. If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be? Be specific, down to the store, or building or cross roads :)
2. If you could read one book for the rest of your life, what would it be?
3. A trip to the moon or a million dollars?
4. Who is you favourite scientist? What do they do?
5. Pirates or Ninjas?
This was so much fun! Thanks Steph for the nomination! I can't wait to see everyone's answers :) please leave a comment with a link to the post so I can check it out!
