Geek Trip of Awesome #1 - PAX Australia Part One

PAX was amazing!

The train was crowded.

We stood in line for about an hour in dizzly rain.

Then we got in!

It was amazing!

Very well organised.

The Expo Hall was full of all sorts of awesome.

The Indie Game Showcase was amazing!

We played so many awesome games.

And collected lots of swag!

I apologise because I didn't take very many photos

The League of Legends stage was always packed.

It was excellent (never played League of Legends)

New Zelda game is due out. It's one of the older titles redone :)

We only spent 2 of the 3 days there.
We decided not to go on Sunday
Which was good because we spent the day relaxing.

What A Week!!!

What a week!

And it's only going to get even busier.

First off, I don't know if I mentioned the job interview I went to.

Well... I GOT THE JOB!

A full time Childcare job!

I start when I get back from my holiday!

Which starts Thursday! I can't believe that this weekend I'll be on the other side of the country!

It's such a long way away. 

PAX is going to be freaking awesome.

I'm going to try and just 'go with it'

and not get stressed etc.

Tomorrow I PACK!

I have done a test run, but I don't want to forget anything!

So tomorrow I pack for real.

And charge all my bits and bobs (laptop, DS, Camera etc.)

DON'T PANIC!

I'm excited and scared about my new job.

Starting any new job is scary, but I've never had a full time job before

and this one involves LOTS of RESPONSIBILITY!

I'm looking after peoples Children!

But I will think about when I get back from my trip.

Now I will think about:

Shit I need to do before said trip - A BAZILLION!

Number of minutes played during last session of Skyrim - 240! what's that!? 4 hours!

Number of half finished blog posts in my drafts - 6 (and probably this one. if it's not July 14th when i post this.... i drafted it!!)

Adventure Time is amazing.

People just don't get it.

You either do or you don't.

But the people that don't just don't understand how the people that do, do :)

I'm currently downloading FEZ.

It's a game I've been waiting to play for AGES!

And it's finally available on PC.

Just over a week until PAX + epic geek holiday of awesomeness with Alex.

We are spend 4 days in Melbourne for PAX, then flying to Sydney for 6 days.

I'm so excited.

We are going to go to...

Bondi

Kings Comics 

and hopefully go see Pacific Rim at IMAX! So excited!!

I've started packing up my room.

I'll be moving in with mum soon.

So excited to have my own space

a kitchen I won't have to worry about getting in the way!

And being able to make as much mess and not have to clean it up

until I want too! :P

Anyway

I'm open to suggestion for what to do in Sydney (places to go etc)

also other awesome things!

Hey everyone!!

It's been awhile.

I've got news and photos and awesome stuff!

2 weeks until PAX!

So excited!

SUPANOVA WAS AWESOME!

I met Karl Urban (again) and Alan Tudyk.

I bought lots of awesome stuff (and spent some of my PAX monies)

BUT NO REGRETS!

I also finished my Certificate 3 in Childcare, yesterday!

It feels so good.

PLUS!

I have a job interview for a full-time Childcare job next week!!!

So excited!

I don't know when I'll post next.
