People Who Won't Admit When They're Wrong ie Stupid People!

Emmy did a blog post about "People Who Hate The Things You Love. With Passion" and asked what our pet peeves are, and since I'm in a complaining sort of mood.... :P

Thoughts On: "People who won't admit when they're wrong." & "Stupid People"

Working in retail, you get a lot of these people. Especially in the Audio Visual Department. Customers who see the trailer for the theatrical release of a movie and then come in and demand that you sell it to them on DVD. You calmly explain to them that it was advertising the release in the cinema, they say "It said OUT NOW!" you re-explain, only in cinemas and tell them it won't be available on DVD for approximately 6 months, they get shitty and say "well I'll go somewhere else and buy it!" They walk away, and you die a little inside because of their stupidity.

I also hate People Who Hate The Things I Love. With Passion. What the fuck people!? I don't judge the fact that you love football, or Hip/Hop music. If you're my friend, I won't judge you, I'll even learn about some things you love so we can have something in common, BUT IF YOU GIVE ME SHIT ABOUT WHAT I LIKE.... SOD OFF!!

I admit, currently, I've been giving Darian a hard time. He hasn't seen Lord Of The Rings, or Star Wars, or Star Trek, but he doesn't judge me for liking them, and I don't judge him for liking Glee, Michael Jackson and Musicals (for real!)

Things I Love Thursday

Things I Love Thursday...

• Clean bedroom. I finally got sick of being surrounded with crap, so I've cleaned up. Found a couple of things I was looking for, which is always a good thing.
• my blog buddy Emma has opened her online store. She makes beaded jewelery and it all looks awesome. check it out.
• 30 Day Project is going well. I've missed some days and posted more than once on others, I'm not really following the rules, but since it's my blog I can break the rules. Like I mentioned previously I'm stuck of Day 13 - A Fictional Book. Might have to skip it and come back to it later.
• First Audio Post was post on Tuesday. It was mainly done so my American friends on LJ could listen and laugh at my accent, which I still don't believe I have =D but can't wait to go overseas and have one =D
• PAY RISE! going from $18 an hour to $20, and we get back pay from July 1st.
• new FUTURAMA. I know season 6 has been out for awhile, but I downloaded the first episode last night and it was awesome. I can't to download more.
• Feeling less bloated, because I'm currently on a "semi" detox. I've generally just cut down on the Pepsi Max and started drinking more water. I'm considering cutting out sugar. Last time I did it I managed to go almost a month without sugar.

Things I Hate Thursday...

• The possibility that Soundwave 2011 will be crap, so far the only band I like that is going is 30 Seconds To Mars, but I'm not paying $150 to see them again. There was news of a leaked list (which is made official tonight 10pm WA Time) and the head liner is apparently Iron Maiden. I am not a fan. Also on the list is Rob Zombie, Slayer, Slash.... mostly metal bands that I don't like. Hopefully the leak was fake, and if not, hopefully the second announcement will have some "good" bands.
• Freaking huge, painful bruise from where the stupid nurse was poking me trying to take my blood. And it's freaking swollen too.
• I think my computer has a virus. When I hit the Windows button the start menu comes up empty, until I run my mouse over it and the words appear =(

I want the middle shirt, but they don't make them anymore =(

• People who let their children run around stores and do whatever the fuck they want. it's a long story but here's the short version. 2 girls. aged 6-9 (not sure). throwing DVDs at each other. DVD hits another kid. kid screams. parents of screaming kids comes running. guess who parent yells at? ME! because apparently it's my fault because I work here... and it's not the fucking parent of the girls. who at this point are just standing watching me get yelled at. I stayed calm. I told her, it was out of my control. so she said she was never coming back. good fucking riddance.

# Blisters - I wore my sisters boots into town today and ended up with blisters on both heels, both big toes AND both little toes

# Headaches - I've had one for about 3 days. It's just a small niggling one. It's probably because I'm dehydrated.

Not being able to find awesome rings that fit my fat fingers =(

# People who let there dogs off the leads on a part of the beach where dogs are not allowed. There is the whole other 3km of the beach to let your dog run. Why do you have it off it's leash here???

I'm Moving Away!

Have you heard about this internet filter they are going to introduce? that will block out child porn and all the really bad stuff. well apparently it block out every site that sells games that are rated R (so bub-bye ebay and amazon and such) and it will also blocked SLASH! slash is a type of fanfiction. It's explicit but fun =D and it's usually written around 2 male characters. It's my guilty pleasure, don't judge me. BUT THEY ARE GOING TO BLOCK IT! and apparently they're going to start scanning EVERY SINGLE email sent and received in Australia. AUSTRALIA is going to turn into BIG BROTHER.

Random Cat

There is a new family in the neighbour hood, and they have a cat. it's been hanging around our yard, and PC has been growling at him, but not attacking him. But today Cous Cous and the random cat where having a stare off, and mum spooked them, so they ended up attacking each other, so now Cous Cous is sore and grumpy. He better not be seriously injured or that other cat is going to get it. =( i like cats, but not when they are in MY cats territory, attakcing MY cats. GRRR and the neighbours don't even care that their cat is crossing a busy road to terriorise our cats and birds. =( grrrrrrr!

in other news. I'm hopefully getting my new desk tomorrow. Then I'll be able to get my room semi organised, and begin removing my old built in desk. I seriously hate my room at the moment, all messy and unorganised. I'm not the most organised person, but I definitely have some sort of organisation..... I like to call it "semi-pandemonium"

Not Happy Jan!

I was just about to order some wicked awesome books from www.fishpond.com.au, then BAM! all the books I've ordered (and 90% of the books on my wishlist) are "Not Available New"! WTF! a couple of minutes ago it said there was 90 copies of one of the books i wanted! GAH! stupid bloody website.... hopefully it's just maintenance! *deep breath*

You know what else annoys me.... $290 per person (per fricking person) to see Simon & Garfunkel in Perth in July! $290 a ticket! WTF! GAH! < thats my angry sound!!

Disappointmen & Sims

I got my new wallet today, and I'm very disappointed =( I spent $30 on a piece of paper with a badly printed image on it, sewn between 2 pieces of clear plastic, then had 3 (3!) card holder pockets and a tiny area for money... =( very disappointed. maybe Robio should have more details on their website! or charge less for it!

Anyway enough bitching.

We have 4 new members to the geek zoo =D 2 male Quails and a pair (male & female) of Charcoal Finches (which are just a breed of common Zebra Finches, but with pretty colours) The 2 Quails are called Vince & Howard (after the Mighty Boosh) by the finches haven't been named yet.

I'm fucking being pested by freaking tweens on Polyvore again! all because I made a set about Robert Pattinson. This one chick (I've deleted all the comments) I can't believe how petty and annoying these people are. She (the evil chick) created that asks people to choose between Robert Patterson and Ryan Sheckler (or whatever his name is... some tiny weeny skater boi!) and gets shitty when people say they like Robert more. But this time I'm not going to let them walk over me. I'm going to be political about it. GRRRR! I fucking hate preppy tweens! GRRRR!

Things I Hate Today

only one thing. People who don't know how to drive. Like the old people in the white car that drove down the middle of york street in front of me, then corrected themself, then cut me off changing lanes, and the asian (so being slightly racist) who cut me off on the roundabout, and then as I'm driving behind them down the street kept putting there foot on the brake (i don't think it was on purpose I think they were just crap drivers)

Life without Stupid People

I could run around like a chicken with it's head cut off. I could care what everyone else was thinking and feeling. but it seems like such hard work. i can't believe how anti-social i am, and how stupid so many people in the world are. who in their right mind lets their son climb a honey display, while they're standing there watching (not saying anything) then when the child falls to the ground - hitting his mothers trolley and taking the honey display with him - gets angry at the supermarket for having unsafe displays??? YOU FUCKING STOOD THERE AND WATCHING YOUR FUCKING CHILD CLIMB TO THE TOP AND YOU DIDN'T SAY A FUCKING THING TO HIM. IF YOU WHERE A GOOD MOTHER YOU WOULD OF TOLD HIM TO GET DOWN.... LIKE ANY NORMAL PERSON WOULD DO... WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU????

Sorry about that! I feel for everyone that works at the supermarket, especially the clerk who was left to clean up the honey, glass and blood... yes children's blood, before another stupid fucker comes alone and slips over. =(

I really hope no new readers are tuning in today and reading this as there first. First impressions are deceitful. I'm usually such a nice loving geek. I love children, i just had their parents.... but not all parents, just stupid ones =(

If i was to run away, would you notice me gone? I think you would. =D, you'd come with me if I ran away, because I can't live without you. and I'm slightly sad that you spend more time away from me, but I accept it, because who wants to be stuck to the same person all there lives. And one day I might leave you for someone else, and i don't want you to be sad when that happens, because I will always love you, even when i hate you!

Love is a funny thing, so is anger, and space... what is space? not space space, but sparkly sky space. I would love to go to the moon and look back at this place, this wonderful, yet stupid planet we call home.

Been listening to pop ballads all day. One in particular. Rule The World by Take That. I think it's an amazing song, but I think others would not think that. But there is nothing wrong with pop music, and the music we used to listen to as kids, fine, we don't listen to it as often as we did, but there's not need to delete it off hard drive and break the cds in half. It's all music in the end. Breaking CDs is like burning books!

layout hell =(

in an attempt to make my cool blog layout even cooler, I kinda fucked it up =( I haven't completely fucked it up, just the sidebar... I'm now attempting to fix it, so if you're reading this and the sidebar doesn't looked fucked, then I must of fixed it! GO ME! If it does look fucked, I'm still trying =D

If the layout looks completely different, that means I must of found a even cooler layout than the one I had =D

I got my Computer back... with a new hard drive. I'm very excited, but sad, because it's so empty =(

• Twilight movie, watched it last night... it's actually quite good... not excellent, but good. CARLISLE = HOT!

• turning off my computer, because I'm afraid it won't turn on again =(

• Water Corp turning off our water for the day, hence why I'm awake so early... needed to shower before we had no water.

Bruce Is Sad ='(

my computer shat itself today, so I won't be online much. I think it's the hard drive. but we'll see. bruce (my computer) is currently at Nigels. I'm hoping it's not the hard drive, and just the sata port (IT speak), but when i turned it on, and went into the BIOS it wasn't recognising my hard drive. It's annoying because I was using my computer last night and tured it off as normal.

I hope it's not a virus or something. And I hope I don't lose everything, because I haven't backed anything up =(

so right now I'm sitting at my little sisters (alex) new desk, on the family laptop. I was able to get rid of he, by making her go upstairs to check a song in The Sims =D

Over It =(

i have a stress related headache.
i try to organise everything so i don't get stressed.
i feel as if i'm over it, and maybe don't want to go.
who'd thought that organising a trip for 3 people for 2 nights be hard?!
maybe i should go to perth on my own.

It Happened =(

So It's happened... I'm sick. I can't talk, my throat is sore and I have a chesty cough... but thats life I suppose! If I stayed dosed up with drugs I may survive the trip to Perth. but if I don't think about being sick I don't feel that bad.

I'm super excited about going to Perth, but you know what the weirdest thing is? all I want to do is go to Borders and buy books! =D And to garden city, to buy Goth Juice from Lush =D

Anyway I'm off to the chemist to buy me some drugs =P

3 weeks to go

I only have 3 weeks left of being 21. Whats going to happen once i turn 22? because 21 year olds can still use that "I'm only young" excuse, but once you turn 22, you have to grow up... and I don't want too. I want to run away to Neverland (or maybe Treasure Planet... hahahaha) and I never want to grow up... but maybe I do. All i know, is all I can think of is seeing Jarppi.... it's weird, the only one I'm excited about seeing if Jarppi. OMG I freaking love The Dudesons... i told Nigel and he called me a geek and laughed at me for being lame... but I don't care! OMG! and Kaitie bought the tickets today. OMG I might get to see all the dudesons (i say might, because HP might not be there... and Jarno, may not be there too) but hopefully Jarppi & Jukka are there! OMG YAY!

I Hate Money... And Banks

I got up happy (this afternoon) and had a shower and sat myself down in front of the computer to check my bank account. I'm freaking over drawn and all my bank accounts!!! ALL OF THEM! because ANZ apparently don't wait until the end of the month to take fees! I may have to ring them!!! Because I don't want them to take taking overdrawn fees out until I get paid on Friday =( I hate money =(

Just rang ANZ and talked to a guy named Pan (i think =D) and he said if I don't use the account the overdrawing fees won't come out... so If I don't touch the account until Friday I'll be fine... not that I've touched my account since last pay day anyway. I've decided I'm going to put $100 a fortnight on my credit card and not use it, so by the time Soundwave comes I should have some money to spend! I'm excited about Soundwave, but affraid that all the good bands will pull out =( I will still go if Billy Talent pulls out, but it will pretty much ruin it :(

GRRR!

so, I really hate Daylight Savings. My body clock is seriously fucked, and I'm not sleeping right (not that I was sleeping well beforehand... but now I have an excuse) and it's just weird looking out the window at 8pm and the sun being up. The main problem is, I'll get used to it... and then we'll change back to normal again. GRRR! After this daylight savings the people of WA have to vote to decide whether they want it or not...

Anyway, currently wearing my Muse t-shirt and I'm probably going to watch the special features on the Nightmare Before Christmas DVD I got =D tomorrow I plan on doing nothing! (even thought I usually do that most days I'm not working) if I'm in the right sort of mood I'll clean my room, and then I have to make dinner =D
