Rest In Peace PC

Yesterday was a bad day.
I had to say goodbye to one of my closest, longest known friends. My cat PC :(
He had to be put down, because he had blood in his lungs and was having trouble breathing. The vet said it was just old age, he was 15 years old.
I don't know how I feel. I'm glad he's not in pain anymore, and I'm sad he's not here anymore, but I don't think it has really hit me yet. Even when dad brought his body home so we could all say goodbye and bury him, it was just so surreal. I half hope that I will turn around and he will be asleep on my bed, but I know he won't.
His little brother Cous Cous, is beside himself. He doesn't know what to do. He's alone now. He's become clingy and affectionate (things he never was before) It's going to be hard for him.
I went to work yesterday, and was numb. I don't remember anything that really happened yesterday. It's all a blur. I know it will get better.
I'm thinking of making a photobook up of all the photos I have of PC :) I think that would be a good memorial. Also we planted an Albany Wooly Bush on top of his grave, because he used to love hiding under them to catch birds :)

4 Weeks

4 weeks until we have to be out of this house. 4 weeks left in my room, which is starting to look less and less like my room. Most of the posters are gone, All my books and DVDs are packed, except for a few I left out to keep me occupied over the next couple weeks. I'm feeling a lot more relaxed now. About moving, and my study. On Saturday night (after my emo rant) I made some sort videos with my webcam and then did the unthinkable... re-watched them! And it wasn't that bad. So I know I can do it. And even though I'm 6 units behind, the course is Part time, so it's not going to be impossible to finish. I'm hoping that my "mystery" full time job will come soon, then I'll be able to quit Blockbuster, and hopefully be able to stay at Target, but still have the weekends. FINGERS CROSSED.

Did I mention the kittens that invaded our house? I think I did. I found them a home. But my friend found another one. A little ginger girl, who is currently running around my feet like a maniac. She didn't have as many ticks and fleas, and is a lot more playful, it's not going to be hard to find her a home. We are going to look after her until tomorrow when my sister Alex gets home from Perth, because she wants to see her.
She's such a cutie. She does look like the other two, they are from the same litter. Hopefully Patricia doesn't find anymore. Poor kitty.

Anyway, I'm back to work tomorrow, after 4 days off. It was good, got some stuff done, did some lazying around, feeling refreshed. How was everyone elses' long weekend?? (well people from WA anyway!)

Kitties!

The bank finally approved Dads' loan. We are finally moving, for real this time... and it scares the shit out of me. But I'm so over this house, I want to start NEW. I might even go crazy and cut and dye my hair, and start looking after myself a little better.

We have had 2 kittens staying with us. My friend Patricia found them in the bush around her house. They were covered in ticks and fleas and not very happy little kitties. We took them to the vet to ask what we could do to help and she gave us some shampoo and some "flea goo" We had to bathe them, and for anyone that knows anything about cats, it's very hard, even if they're tiny little kittens. But they are so much happier now. They eating on there own, using kitty litter and being very playful. They also like to sleep. It's so cute.
I have someone coming to have a look at them today. I would love to keep them, but our cats are going to be under enough stress moving house, let alone having to deal with 2 new kittens (plus dad doesn't want to keep them) I hope that she takes both of them, I don't want them to be separated. We will see. My little sister (whose in Perth) will be upset, because I promised her they would be here when she got home, but if I can find them a new home, and not have to take them to the RSPCA it would be great. So Alex, if you're reading this, I'm sorry if they get taken, but I would rather see them go to a nice home, then the RSPCA.

I will keep you updated.

THERE IS A FUCKING TIGER SNAKE IN OUR BACKYARD!

No kidding! A Tiger Snake.
In our yard.
And guess what, the snake men came, and couldn't find it, so now they're leaving. SO IT'S STILL THERE!
But we're going to pretend that they caught it so mum will be able to sleep at night. My mum HATES snakes. HATES HATES HATES! So it's best that we tell her they got it. so Shhhhhh! don't tell her.

I now have enough money to buy an iPad, if I decide to get one, which I haven't decided yet. Not until there is a price and release date. But I am kinda excited over the prospects of owning an iPad, and using it when I go to Melbourne in June, and getting it delivered and opening it (or "de-boxing") But I have enough money for a MacBook, but I'm just not as excited about a MacBook, as I am with an iPad. And I don't really want to replace my computer, but I want something portable, but more powerful and bigger than my iPhone. and the iPad seems the prefect thing.
I'm thinking, 16GB or 32GB Wi-Fi only iPad, I don't want a 3G one, because that would completely void the fact that I have a data plan on my iPhone, and a majority of the iPad's use will be at home anyway, and when I'm away, there is wi-fi everywhere, I've already checked the hotel we're staying at in Melbourne and they have FREE Wi-Fi.

UPDATE:
Found the snake. Called the snake man back, and he got it. It was about 1.5metres long! I didn't see it because I went to the gym, because I'm a good girl (only the second time this year). It was good, did 20 minutes on the treadmill and then tried to use the bike, but it didn't work, so I gave up =D but only because the gym was packed.

I have tomorrow off, and I have to make a plushie for my cousin, because it's his 1st birthday tomorrow. =D YAY!
I'm off to plan something.

"This is PC, the older of our 2 cats. He's about 12 years old.
I took this photo with my Canon EOS 450D and then played with the colours in GIMP (because I can't afford photoshop)"

I felt bad, because yesterday's photo was crappy, so I followed PC around most of the day and took hundreds of photos of him to get this shot. I changed the Levels and Curves in GIMP, and played with the contrast. That's why PC looks so pretty.

Exploring is Fun

Bed is moved. I did sort through the shit under my bed, threw most of it out. I've moved my bed. Looking forward to sleeping in it. I've vacuumed 4 times, washed my windows, organised my magazines, took down my cork board (which involved taking everything off it) and made my cat a new hidie hole (which was completely by accident. He's having so much fun exploring my new room.)

It's so cold today. I've spent the whole day moving furniture around and cleaning so I didn't notice, until I had to go outside. O.M.G! As much as I'd love to go to Finland one day, I don't know if I could survive!

The next thing on my renovation list is to put a new wall up, a wall that we can attach the wardrobe fittings to. i'm really excited about my new wardrobe. I used to have a build in wardrobe, but I ripped it out.... and now I'm putting it back, but this times its going to be better because I'm getting a Wardrobe World system.

Okay so, here's some photos. They're not of the new wall (and colour) I know that some of you are waiting on them, One day =D

Disappointmen & Sims

I got my new wallet today, and I'm very disappointed =( I spent $30 on a piece of paper with a badly printed image on it, sewn between 2 pieces of clear plastic, then had 3 (3!) card holder pockets and a tiny area for money... =( very disappointed. maybe Robio should have more details on their website! or charge less for it!

Anyway enough bitching.

We have 4 new members to the geek zoo =D 2 male Quails and a pair (male & female) of Charcoal Finches (which are just a breed of common Zebra Finches, but with pretty colours) The 2 Quails are called Vince & Howard (after the Mighty Boosh) by the finches haven't been named yet.

just a little video to fulfill my Sims 3 obsession =D
