He's not really the sort of guy I'm attracted too. He's tall, 6'6. And very muscular... which I've never been attracted too before.... until Kevin. his role as the angel Gabriel in Legion is what did it for me. And since watching Legion last week, I've watched 5 other movies with Kevin. Smokin Aces, 3.10 To Yuma, X-Men Origins - Wolverine, Walking Tall and Mystery, Alaska.

2. Sharlto Copley

Don't act so surprised.

Sharlto. He's only EVER been in 2 movies. District 9 and The A Team. Before District 9 he had NEVER acted before in his life... and considering half the script of District 9 was improv... I can pretty much say he's one of the best actors in the world.

I love his accent. That's what did it. His South African accent... As well as being good looking.

That lasted for a while and then nothing.... until Inkheart. Paul Bettany as Dust Finger... then he took his shirt off.... OH EM GEE. He was no longer the skinny weedy underdog, he had muscles! Then Legion. he was the reason I wanted to watch Legion. I can't wait to see Priest.

MUST READ - Do You Want To Be A Mermaid Or A Whale?

Recently, in a large city in Australia, a poster featuring a young, thin and tan woman appeared in the window of a gym. It said, “This summer, do you want to be a mermaid or a whale?”

A middle-aged woman, whose physical characteristics did not match those of the woman on the poster, responded publicly to the question posed by the gym.

To Whom It May Concern,

Whales are always surrounded by friends (dolphins, sea lions, curious humans.) They have an active sex life, get pregnant and have adorable baby whales. They have a wonderful time with dolphins stuffing themselves with shrimp. They play and swim in the seas, seeing wonderful places like Patagonia, the Bering Sea and the coral reefs of Polynesia.

Whales are wonderful singers and have even recorded CDs. They are incredible creatures and virtually have no predators other than humans.

They are loved, protected and admired by almost everyone in the world.

Mermaids don’t exist.

If they did exist, they would be lining up outside the offices of Argentinean psychoanalysts due to identity crisis. Fish or human? They don’t have a sex life because they kill men who get close to them, not to mention how could they have sex? Just look at them… where is IT?

Therefore, they don’t have kids either.

Not to mention, who wants to get close to a girl who smells like a fish store?

The choice is perfectly clear to me: I want to be a whale.

P.S. We are in an age when media puts into our heads the idea that only skinny people are beautiful, but I prefer to enjoy an ice cream with my kids, a good dinner with a man who makes me shiver, and a piece of chocolate with my friends.

With time, we gain weight because we accumulate so much information and wisdom in our heads that when there is no more room, it distributes out to the rest of our bodies. So we aren’t heavy, we are enormously cultured, educated and happy.

Beginning today, when I look at my butt in the mirror I will think, “Good grief, look how smart I am!”

I've never in my life wanted to be a mermaid, even when I was obsessed with The Little Mermaid, I would of much rather been Sebastian or Flounder. Idiots & Pretty Flowers

The town I live in is ran by idiots. today I was reading Thursday's newspaper, and was so shocked by what I read. A man in Albany started a facebook group to petition for Big W to open in town. The city council rejected Big W a couple of weeks ago. Well the man, has been "asked" by his boss to close the page down, or he'll lose his job. Because local businesses don't want to deal with a business that employs someone that doesn't support local business. FUCK YOU! I want Big W! I care about local businesses, but I also care about variety, and albany has over 25,000 people, I think we should get a Big W, or at least get to vote. Also 3 of the council members are sueing the council, but won't stand down. so they're sueing themselves???? YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS! YOU ALL SHOULD BE FIRED!

Today I went out with my dad to look for orchids. And we found some. My favourite flowers in the whole world, they only grow around here. They're called Queen of Sheba orchids and they're amazing. Just have a look.

They grow on tall thin stem and usually have 1-3 flowers on them, today we found one that had SEVEN flowers on one stem...

They come like these, and sometimes with less purple and more pink, we didn't find any pink ones today. They're quite small, the top photo was the size of an (Australian) 50c piece, but they're usually the size of an (Australian) 20c piece. I wish I could have one in my room, but it's illegal to pick them, and I wouldn't, and they only flower in the sun (they're sun orchids) and they only last about 5 days, before they die.

So how is everyone today? I got up late and spent the whole day doing nothing, but now I feel bad that I wasted the day. I did clean the kitchen a little and make Chocolate Fudge Brownies, but I have a whole to do list of things to do. I only have one full day off left.
My little sister is getting her costume for book week together. She's going as Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim and it looks freaking sweet. I can't post photos until after the day, because she wants it to be a surprise to her friends (and some of them follow this blog).

Finished watching Joan of Arc last night. It was the PG version with Leelee Sobieski as Joan, and Neil Patrick Harris as King Charles. Neil looked so bad with that stupid crap haircut. Now I want to watch the MA version with Mila Jovavich as Joan, but I don't know where to find it.

Election Day & Other Nonsense

It's election day. I voted. Did you? I got in there, ignored all the people at the front that hand you things and lined up. WHO THE FUCK WAS I GOING TO VOTE FOR? It wasn't easy like last time. Do I vote for the women, because well, she's a women, or do I vote for the man, because well, he's a man. Or do I vote for another party, knowing that in the end their votes get given to the 2 main parties anyway. PS I know nothing about politics. I voted. I don't remember who for now, that's how sure of who I was voting for. I didn't want to do a donkey vote... I thought about writing DARTH VADER on the ballot paper, but decided that I touched the paper and my fingerprints were on it, so if they wanted they could find me.

Saw my cousin Logan today. He's so grown up now, almost has all his teeth, can walk, still can't really talk, but he does the cute "trying to talk". I had a conversation with him (I didn't understand anything he was saying) but it was awesome. Then he was helping my aunt (and his) and his mum (my aunt) pick lemons, and we'd pull the lemons of the tree and the tree with shake and recoil and he would laugh so much, it was so cute. He's such a little boy, he laughs at boy things, like when you throw such at people and it hits them, and when you drop something. Next Saturday I'm hoping to look after him all day. I hope so.

Duromine - Day 1 review. Full of energy all day, ate 2 meals, didn't snack at all, didn't even spend the whole day drinking Pepsi Max. At 11pm I felt tired. I thought maybe I wouldn't suffer from Insominia, so I went to bed. OH was I wrong. I've never even felt like that. I've had nights where I can't sleep because my brain is going a million miles an hour, but this was different, my brain was quiet, I really wanted to sleep, I snuggled in, closed my eyes and NOTHING! I just couldn't sleep. Luckily my clock is broken, so I didn't know what time it was. I assume I did manage to get to sleep, because I remember it being dark and closing my eyes, and then waking up and it was morning. But that feeling of completely empty brain, but not being able to sleep is quite strange. But in saying that, I don't feel tired this morning, but that could be because I have taken another Duromine tablet this morning =D At the moment, I'm feeling empty, but not hungry. I'm waiting for mum to come home with lunch. I have the long shift at work tonight. 1pm to 8pm. I like it, because there is always someone else there.

Currently listening to: Adam Lambert - For Your Entertainment. I bought it off iTunes after an American friend raved about it. Yesterday I bought the Australian version CD (which has a different... awesomer cover... which I can't find online, so I'll have to scan it later) I'd only listened to the singles until now. The whole album is awesome. DON'T JUDGE ME =P

... waiting for The Pagemaster to download. Do you remember it? I remember watching it in my primary school library during a rainy lunchtime. My little sister messaged me last night asking if we had it at Blockbuster. (fyi she now works at Video Ezy... we're slowly taking over the world) and I thought... "we have fast internet now. I'll download it" but because there isn't many seeders it's really slow. Hopefully it will be finished so I can watch it tomorrow.

Also, this is slightly random, but completely awesome. Nigel (at work) signed up a new member. After he left Nigel showed me the membership form.... Dean Winchester. I know right. OMG. For you that don't get the sheer awesomeness of this (shame on you) Dean Winchester is a character in a tv series called Supernatural, played by Jensen Ackles. (below - he's the hot one)

Nigel was saying that Dean (Albany Dean) can't get facebook, because of his name, which I think is a load of poo, because Albany Dean was around a lot longer than Supernatural Dean.... and plus Supernatural Dean isn't even a real person.
I really should start watching Supernatural again. I only made it halfway through season 1, but I really want to see the angel (whatever his name is) because I'm constantly getting spammed on Tumblr about him.
