Sydney Trip Photos Part 1

A few of my favourite photos from my trip to Sydney!    

I had so much fun. My favourite bits were seeing The Lion King, and going to Katoomba and seeing the Three Sisters and Scenic World.

Awesomest Birthday Surprise EVER!

What a weekend!

I was sick on Friday and sent home from work

I got home and my little sister told me that I had ruined her surprise for me

because I had to be at work.

She told me that she would text me

and then I had to leave the house.

So at 4.30pm I got a text

So I left the house.

I went for a drive.

I got a text saying I could go home.

I made it home

opened the door and there was a huge box.

Well long story short.

My best friend Emma was in the box

She had travelled down from Perth for the weekend

to celebrate my birthday

My sisters and my mum had organised it

They had been organising it for 2 weeks with Emma.

It was surprised

but because I was sick

I didn't really act it!

The weekend was AMAZING!

It would of been epic if I wasn't sick

Plus Emma had her wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday

so she wasn't 100% herself either!

On Friday we just went for a drive and saw my dad and Cous Cous

we had Fish & Chips and played Cards Against Humanity.

On Saturday we went shopping.

Did some tourist stuff

Took Emma to Penis Rock (yep you heard me right)

Here's the proof!

We went to the Amity

(which is a Ship that brought people to Albany)

and did some other random sight seeing

Made a cake.

AN AWESOME Peanut Butter Chocolate Mousse Cake!

And made Stir Fry for dinner

We then played Cards Against Humanitys again!

Today we went to the Boatshed Markets

(which I didn't even know existed!)

We had some food

I bought some succulents to make a terrarium.

We then went to Whale World

saw some animals

I bought myself an Erstwilder Ship Brooch!

Isn't it awesome!?

we then went to The Gap

which is a gap in the rocks where the ocean rushes in. LOL

We left because some tourists were being stupid and not following the safety warnings

Then came home and Emma left. :(

What an amazing weekend

What an amazing start to my birthday week!

I don't think it can get any better.

But we will see!

ONE

Got excited over the release of the FIRST R18+ game in Australia. For all those in other countries, Australia has never had 18+ games... which means that the games were edited down to get a 15+ rating, or banned! Now finally after years of waiting and signing petitions... AUSTRALIA has 18+ rating for video games!

Mango Macaroons from McDonalds! I hate Mango, but they were the only ones left. But dispite the mango flavour... they were delicious!

Simcity guide book. Since I can't play Simcity yet, I will get my fix by reading all the info and watching ALL the youtube videos!

Chocolate Macaroons from McDonalds. This was super YUMMY! I actually walk into McDonalds to order my food now, just so I can see if they have Macaroons!

SEVEN

Woolworths sell Mini Reese's Peanut Butter Cups. So tempted to cook Chocolate Cupcakes and stick a Peanut Butter Cup inside them! YUMMMY!

EIGHT

Midnight DIY Geometric Stag. I was bored at midnight, so I drew on my bag. This is the result! Looks pretty snazzy!

Idiots & Pretty Flowers

The town I live in is ran by idiots. today I was reading Thursday's newspaper, and was so shocked by what I read. A man in Albany started a facebook group to petition for Big W to open in town. The city council rejected Big W a couple of weeks ago. Well the man, has been "asked" by his boss to close the page down, or he'll lose his job. Because local businesses don't want to deal with a business that employs someone that doesn't support local business. FUCK YOU! I want Big W! I care about local businesses, but I also care about variety, and albany has over 25,000 people, I think we should get a Big W, or at least get to vote. Also 3 of the council members are sueing the council, but won't stand down. so they're sueing themselves???? YOU'RE ALL IDIOTS! YOU ALL SHOULD BE FIRED!

Today I went out with my dad to look for orchids. And we found some. My favourite flowers in the whole world, they only grow around here. They're called Queen of Sheba orchids and they're amazing. Just have a look.

They grow on tall thin stem and usually have 1-3 flowers on them, today we found one that had SEVEN flowers on one stem...

They come like these, and sometimes with less purple and more pink, we didn't find any pink ones today. They're quite small, the top photo was the size of an (Australian) 50c piece, but they're usually the size of an (Australian) 20c piece. I wish I could have one in my room, but it's illegal to pick them, and I wouldn't, and they only flower in the sun (they're sun orchids) and they only last about 5 days, before they die.

Photo Project

I have some days off coming up, and thought it would be fun to take some photos of my life. And to make it even more interesting I want YOU to tell me what to take photos of. I tried this once before, but it failed epically. So I'm hoping this time, since I have a few more readers it might work.

All you have to do is comment with what you want me to take a photo of, and I will (within reason). Here's some suggestions. My Pets, My Car, Favourite Store, PEZ Collection.... any collections really. My bag, my phone.... WHATEVER. And you can be completely random too, like the 3rd book from the left on the top shelf on my book case.... or the last DVD I watched.

Question Time

December last year I asked you who your current celebrity crush is. And since my choice of celebrity crushes changes almost as much as I change clothes, I thought I'd ask again so...

Whose your current celebrity crush/crushes?

First off (and most current) The Umbilical Brothers. If you don't know who they are, they are an Australia comedy duo, whose show can pretty much be described as Mime, with sound. They are Dave (The one with hair) & Shane (The one without hair) and they're hilarious.

 I've seen them live 3 times and met them twice. The second time we saw them, they tried to pull my sister onto the stage, but she said no, and after the show they came out and straight over to us, and told us that Kaitlin (my sister) was the first one ever to say NO =D They were very impressed. Their DVDs, Speedmouse (seen the live show) and Don't Explain (haven't seen the live show) are hilarious. I own both. PS They're not really brothers & I know they're not the greatest looking blokes, but fuck are they funny and really that's all that really matters =D

MICHAEL FASSBENDER. He played Lt. Archie Hicox in Inglourious Basterds, but what has got me loving him, is the fact that he is going to be playing my favourite classic literary character of all time.... Edward Rochester from Jane Eyre. And during my search for more information about Jane Eyre I came across this, very striking, very SEXY photo of Mr. Fassbender...

I've never been a fan of facial hair, but GOD! HOT! He was born in Germany, but raised in the UK. He speaks English & German and apparently he was in 300 (I will have to rent it and see) Here's a couple more photos of Michael Fassbender... Just because...

And lastly, Sharlto Copley. You all know how excited I am to see The A Team, when it finally comes out. Even more excited about seeing it, then I currently am about going to Melbourne (4 weeks). I can't wait to see Sharlto Copley in a humorous role. In the trailer they show his character (Murdock) trying to start a car with defibrillators and getting shocked and it's hilarious.

There is something about his South African accent that just gets me. I've never been a fan of SA accents but his.... *swoon*
