I Want a Vs. Journal by Knock Knock

You all know that I'm a little bit of a stationery addict.... OKAY, fine A LOT of a stationery addict.... If I could marry stationery, I would!

My biggest love is NOTEBOOKS!
Notebooks, Journals, Planners, Diaries... whatever you want to call them! I have HUNDREDS! and I always need more.

AND THEN I CAME ACROSS THIS!!!

I've been following Notebook Stories for ages... I was even featured as one of their Notebook addicts way back when, and today they posted about this....

... The Vs. Journal by Knock Knock. It's a hard covered, 256 page journal of prompts. "230 illustrated face-offs of psychological import, insightful interpretations, and plenty of writing room for contemplation to provide self-awareness that you could never achieve on your own." In other words...
write about which of the 2 you prefer... see below!
I love journal prompts and super love whole journals dedicated to prompts... and Vs. are some of the best. Plus the journal looks amazing, there are some awesome action shots on Notebook Stories.

I'm adding this to my Christmas Wishlist.... and if I don't get one... I may just have to buy one myself :D

Life Update...

It's time for another "life update"...

Christmas - was spent at my aunt and uncles place with pretty much my whole family (minus a few we don't speak of) I got to spend the whole day playing with my cousin Logan and cuddling my new baby cousin (and godson) Seth. I received a Blu-Ray player, a cassette iPhone cover, and vouchers to Things Living, Dymocks and Coles Myer. It was fun, but a little bit sad, because a couple days before we received news that a family friend had died :(

New Years Eve - was spend at work, until 5pm and then to my friends 26th Birthday/Tim Burton NYE party. Everyone dressed up (including me... I went as Voodoo Girl) and had an awesome time. I don't drink, so it was pretty funny watching my friends get drunk :) We left the party at about 11pm and then went to mums' to watch the midnight fireworks.

1st January 2012 - If you follow me on Twitter you would of seen that January 1st was this blogs 4th Birthday, but when I came home from work (yes! I had to work New Years Day) I had the worst headache so I went to bed. 4 years is a really long time to have a blog :O It has gone by many names over the years, but has never really changed much. You should take a look at the archive and read some old posts!

My 2012 Bucket List is here... I've already watched 2 new movies this year (The Adventures Of Tintin and War Horse) and I'm planning the first blog competition, but other than that it's pretty much been minecraft and procrastination...

Reading... Geek Girls Unite

CRUSHING ON... Adrien Brody (again)

wasting my iPhones' battery with...
Pocket Academy

Now that my work shifts are back to normal, I can plan more posts. I have a couple to do, but my Procrastination Fairy likes to send a lot of time hanging around.

Things I Love Thursday

It's Thursday again. Isn't it amazing how often it seems to be Thursday. Everyday I wake up and there is a 1 in 7 chance that it's Thursday... I like those odds.

Things I Love Thursday is really the only consistent thing about my blog. I tried to add more days, like "Tunesday" but I just kept forgetting about it. But you've always, pretty much guaranteed that if it's Thursday.... you'll have Things I Love Thursday.

It's been a busy week. Having 2 jobs and not being very organised is quite difficult. Luckily I have some trusty highlighters to help make life a little easier...
Highlighters are awesome (note: please excuse a certain symbol... I was watching STARS... the words next to it say "who would of thought a simple collection of lines could be so evil?")

I watched 3:10 To Yuma on Tuesday night. It was awesome. I usually avoided Westerns because I found every one I'd seen boring.... but Cowboys are awesome. But even cooler... their clothes... in particular Charlie Princes jacket...
I need his Jacket. He was definitely the best dressed and Ben Foster (who played Charlie) was excellent. I remember him in a movie I've been looking for for ages called Get Over It. It was so funny. Then he was angel in X-Men The Last Stand... and you all know how I feel about angels *wink wink*

There is also this Jacket. This is a screenshot from the music video for Kings & Queens by 30 Seconds To Mars (it recently won a VMA). That jacket is awesome... it's military and orange... what more do you want? Finding an awesome jacket like that is not hard.... finding one in my size.... impossible. I LOVE JACKETS!
Bounty Hunter

The book I'm currently reading, One For The Money by Janet Evanovich is about a female bounty hunter. I love it. I read from page 17 to page 145 last night, hence my minor obsession with bounty hunters.

I'm off now. TA-RA

Last Day Of Winter 2010

Today is the last day of Winter, and in true Albany fashion.... it's raining. But it will be raining tomorrow too, so it's not a big deal. Spring time. My birthday is in Spring. I will have to start thinking about my party. I'm thinking of making it a "famous people of the 80s" party.... singers, actors, iconic characters etc. I want to be HM Murdock from the A Team. =D

Had a job interview at Target today. It's for a part time, checkout/door position. Wed 10-3, Thur 5-9, Fri 1-5 & Sat 1-5. 17 hours a week. I hope I get it, It will be good to have set shifts, and hopefully I'll be able to work Blockbuster around it. Fingers crossed. I should hopefully find out by the end of the week.

I also did a little bit of shopping. First I bought something completely awesome.... well 2 of the same thing, off ebay....
Yep, that's right. I ordered 2 Murdock (Sharlto Copley) action figures. One will stay sealed (because I'm a nerd) and one I'll open =D I can't wait. it was $36 for both, including postage from the UK.
I also finally got my hands on 2 DVDs I've been chasing for months. They were advertised in the Target catalogue last week, but when I went in last week I couldn't find them, well today, after my interview I wandered around the store and found them...
Discovery Channel's Dirty Jobs. This show is on ABC2 almost every night, and it's gross, but hilarious. My mother and I have a crush on the host Mike Rowe. I did a little post about it a couple of months ago. If you have a chance, check it out.

I'm going to get back into the 30 Day Project. I completely forgot about it. The next post will be Day 14 - A non-fiction book. I know what I'm going to do. I just need to get some photos. Expect it soon.

I also bought a copy of Hot Tub Time Machine on Blu-ray. I've been cutting down on buying movies and only buying movies that I really like, and I loved this film. I can't wait to watch it again, but because it's Blu-ray it will be a little harder, because the blu-ray is in the living room. I want The Book of Eli too, but Target didn't have any copies left, and I wanted to buy it for $29, as opposed to $39.95 every where else. I know I should be "supporting" local businesses, but as far as I see it, without Target, over 100 people in this town wouldn't have a job.

Gary Oldman is the best bad guy in the business. I love him as Zorg in The Fifth Element (that's another movie I need on Blu-ray)

YAY! just got an email saying that my Murdock figures have shipped. BTW, I finished Season 1 of The A Team last night. I loved the last episode when the team were in their military uniforms. Murdock looked so handsome =D I tried to find a picture, but I failed =( You'll just have to watch the episode for yourself, it's called "A Nice Place to Visit" it's the last episode of season 1.
