I'm having a little shake up of this blog at the moment.
I'm really indecisive about where I want this blog to lead.
It's always been a sort of personal diary, with a few reviews, geeky pics etc.
I want to be inspired.
There are so many bloggers that inspire me.
I want my blog to inspire people the way that you guys inspire me :)

I discovered this colouring book at Dymocks and it's freaking amazing!

I honestly identify to some aspects of Hipter-ism, and not afraid to admit it!

This colouring book fuels my 49% hipster soul!

This amazingly beautiful planner! It's so beautiful! I really want to buy it, but I have a slight perfectionist problem. It's a 17 month diary, which means, do I start using this new one and have a half finished 2015 planner? or do I not use it until 2016 and have a couple of months unused!?

I'm in love with Billy Talent... again... but always!
I have loved them for many many years!
And like your favourite bands, they sometimes just fall to the side, while you listen to the new music of new artists, but eventually you find your way back to them!

I recently discovered they had released a "Hits" CD (I say CD, but seriously, I haven't bought a music CD in 5 years!), but since I have ALL their albums, I ignored it... until I realised there were 2 NEW songs! OMG! I downloaded them straight away and haven't been able to stop listening to either... but especially...

Chasing The Sun - it's a sad song, written for one of the extended Billy Talent family who passed away recently :( I love how Ben and Ians' voices compliment each other in this song!

So now... my playlist has this song in it 6 times... as well as the rest of my favourite Billy Talent songs. Of 28 songs... there is 6 that aren't Billy Talent! It's the best. playlist. ever!

I would really love for Billy Talent to come back to Perth, Australia on tour! I saw them in 2009, they were amazing! I would really love to see them again!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. I have been very busy with work, and prepping (physically & mentally) for future surgery! Plus I haven't really felt that inspired to post. Sorry :(

Things I Love Thursday

♥ After Ever After 2 - Paint - My sister showed me this video a little while ago, but I've only just got around to posting it. This guy is a genius! If you haven't seen After Ever After part 1 click here... he also did Harry Potter in 99 Seconds (which is genius!)

♥ The Queen's Guard play the Game Of Thrones theme song at the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace.

♥ I am yet to finish The Magicians by Lev Grossman (yeah, I'm a slow reader)... but OMG I'm starting to get really into it! Book 3 in out in August. I'm very excited about getting the box set once it's out to add to my ever growing book collection!

♥ The Lion King (Original Broadway Cast Recording) has been playing on repeat ever since I got back from Sydney! The Lion King was AMAZING! The costumes, the sets, the lighting, and of course the actors/singers were freaking amazing!!!

♥ The Book Group - it can only be describe as a Scottish soap opera from 2003. It was super tragic, and trashy.... but amazing, I couldn't stop watching. There are only 2 series. It's about an American woman who moved to Scotland and started a book group to meet people. What ensues is a collection of random characters, including 3 football wives (one from Netherlands, one from Sweden and one from Scotland) who are all have marital issues... a closeted gay football fan (who's sleeping with one of the husbands), a drug addicted literature student, and a man in a wheelchair (played by The Hound from Game Of Thrones (Rory McCann).... the reason I watched in the first place). It's hard to explain. My poor bestie Emma, received many frustrated messages about how much I hated certain characters... and then loved them, then hated them... I think in the end she was just ignoring them!
I had to buy the 2 series on DVD from Fishpond... I'm not sure were in the world you will find it!

♥ The best version of Throw Your Arms Around Me (not by the original singers Hunters and Collectors) by Australia comedy trio The Doug Anthony Allstars. - I don't know what other people say, but in my family this song is called "The Stalker Song" which sounds a little weird, but just listen to some of the lyrics. But this is the BEST. VERSION. EVER! ♥

♥ On Saturday night I'm having a movie night with my friend Jen. She lives in Perth now, but every time she comes to Albany she contacts me to hang out. I think she's the only one of my local friends that realises that I don't like going out, but I'm quite happy to have a movie night / games night etc. The movies we have decided to watch are, Star Trek Into Darkness (in 3D), Pompeii and Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit. ♥

♥ I have gone pretty crazy on Pinterest recently. I have 89 boards at the moment, ranging from geek stuff, movies, science stuff and to activities for children etc. I like to sort my boards out, make sure they're in alphabetical order etc... Things I Love Thursday + Blogging Idea

♥ Waterlogue - an app for your iPhone that turns your photos into beautiful water colours. I'm addicted! I've gone through all my older photos and turned them into beautiful water colours.

There are 12 different water colour filters, and as the filter is loading you get this really lovely loading screen, where it paints each of the colours to show the whole image! It really is beautiful. I tried it out on some images of space and I got this most amazing image!

I wish I was that good at water colour. It is and always has, been my paint of choice. This is now my phone background and lock screen :)

♥ Long weekend starts tomorrow... 4 days off, followed by a 3 day work week, followed by another 3 day long weekend (which I've extended to 5 days!) YAY! Heading to Perth on the second long weekend to hopefully pick up a typewriter and go to IKEA!

♥ Making some embellishment for my scrapbooking using my badge maker (another failed hobby) at least I'm using what I have and not buying lots of new stuff! :) I went into Red Dot (a cheap variety store) and found stick on gems pack and glitter alpha stickers for $1 each, and went crazy! I know have enough stick on gems to sink a battleship!

♥ Working with children... get Easter gifts from parents! :)

♥ My first scrapbooking supplies parcel arrived today! I had kind of forgotten what I ordered, so it was a surprise... even if something was out of stock and I got something I swear I didn't order... but it's pretty cool anyway!

Received some more boyish stuff, so hopefully I will be able to finish my cousins 5th Birthday page. It looks pretty awesome now, just wait until I add some more awesome stuff!

They arrived during the week.

YOGSQUEST.

As most of my readers know

I love Minecraft

and I also love The Yogscast.

They're a group of English Youtubers who I found through their Minecraft videos

But they play lots of different games etc.

This week, in celbration of Geek Week on Youtube

They decided to play Dungeons and Dragons... in character.

And it's fucking hilarous.

It is called YOGSQUEST

ASOS New Look Inspire Comic Print Dress.

It arrived.
The fabric is nice and bright and a good thickness.
But even being a size 26, it's still a little tight.
It clings to my rolls :)
but if I have a flowy top over it, it would hide that I think.

I watched it last night.
I was worried because it's pretty much just Tom Cruise for the whole film.
BUT IT WAS GOOD!
The twist in the middle got me!
Didn't see that one coming.
The special effects were amazing!

I'm back from my trip to Melbourne & Sydney

My sister Alex and I went.

We went to PAX Australia in Melbourne

Then went to Sydney to do touristy things.

While in Sydney

We went and saw Pacific Rim at IMAX...

and not just any IMAX...

THE BIGGEST IMAX IN THE WORLD!

It was FUCKING Amazing!

Anyway Pacific Rim was amazing!

Guillermo Del Toro has really outdone himself!

I'm not going to review it...

just tell you...

GO SEE IT!

I will say the worst part was...

The Australian accents of the non Australians playing Australian

(I don't know why they didn't just hire Australians)

But after awhile you forget about it.

THE BEST THING!

Well 2 things actually

where these two...

they are Hermann Gottlieb & Newt Geiszler

and they are the funniest and best part of the movie!

and yes... I SHIP THEM!

They need their own spin off show

or this...

I went into it with very low expectations (cos of the whole Stephanie Meyers/Twilight thing)
but I was pleasantly surprised!

It was good!!

 plus I could perve on Jake Abel (right)

It also led me to a new band!

Their song Radioactive is used in the credits.

I've actually heard heaps of the songs in the past.
In Glee, and on movie trailers etc.
I downloaded their album

I also ordered some clothes from ASOS!
I really shouldn't be allowed on that site!

That's right!

So freaking excited!
Hopefully it will fit!
