RAINBOW CAKE!

I'm in the middle of creating this awesome cake of awesome!


I should be documenting it, but I'm not! I'm just using White Wings Angelic Vanilla Cake and adding food colouring. It's 2 cakes per box. I'm not sure what I'm going to use and filling and icing, but I have a secret ingredient! Popping Candy!!! It's going to be awesome!

This is all because it's my 26th Birthday on Tuesday and I have to take a cake into work, so I'm making the most epic cake ever!

In other news. Leonids Meteor Shower is upon as again. My sister Alex and I went out on Saturday morning (read: 1am) to see if we could get a good look, but it was a complete fail, we didn't see anything :( I got home at 4am, it was a good adventure but it would of been nice to see some meteors.

I finally have my iMac back. I took it into the local Apple retailer to get the hard drive replaced, because Apple had identified that the hard drive was faulty. I took my iMac in on October 26th! 2 weeks in I rang them and they hadn't even ordered the part yet. I was so angry. I let another week and a half pass, and luckily for them they didn't get to 4 weeks or I would of gone in very angry. But the tech did ring me and apologise for how long it took, which I appreciate, but it wouldn't of taken so long if they had ordered the part earlier. Now that my iMac is back I can play Sims 3 again. Sims 3 Seasons is out and it's awesome! I love the snow storms and the rain storms and the lightning! It is awesome.

Now I'm back to making cake! Bye-ee

Will You Be My Friend?

Pre-Ordered the Sims 3: Showtime Katy Perry Edition today.

Then I went online and discovered that one of the features (which you use to unlock rewards) is social... ie you need to have friends who play Sims 3 in order to get it to work. WHICH SUCKS! because I don't have any friends who play Sims 3, plus I don't have the internet capable of playing video games on it. GAH!
So I will see. Still really excited about this game :)

Sims 3: Pets

This is Emma. She's a crazy awesome cat loving, nana sweater wearing geek, and I love her :)

 This is her cat Lewis. "She's" a Devon Rex, who likes to hunt :)

This is Simon, he's a fat Scottish Fold who LOVES to sleep. He's also, not the smartest cat in the world (read: STUPID)

This is their house. They live in a wonderful new town called Appaloosa Falls. It's full of huge lots, beautiful farmhouses and is full of wild horses, wild animals (like deer and raccoons) and strays, so if Emma decides she wants more pets, it won't be hard to find one.

Sims 3: Pets. It's the newest expansion for the Sims 3 franchise, it was one of the Sims 2 expansions that I would love to see as Sims 3 (other than SEASONS.... Dear Sims 3 creators... I WANT SEASONS in Sims 3)

There are a few differences to the Sims 2 version.

• Pets can't have jobs 
• HORSES, which includes new "Riding Skills" for your Sim, and Racing and Jumping Skills for the Horse.
• You can now control your pets like you control your sims (unlike the Sims 2 version, where you could only do it with cheats) 
• Wild animals, including Snakes, Turtles, Lizards, Birds and Rodents that can be collected and kept in Terrariums and cages.
• Cats and Dogs can have "Hunting Skills". Cats will hunt the above mentioned animals, Dogs will collect Gems, Metals, Rocks and "Special Things" which includes fragments of bones that can be made into Dinosaur Skeletons, and fragments of Pet related sculptures.
• DNA/Genetics play a big part when you breed the animals.
• in Create a Pet you choose 3 traits for your pets, but they can learn more traits. ie a horse that runs lots and likes to race, will acquire the "fast" trait, or cats that are friendly to people and other animals can acquire the "friendly" trait.
• Create A Pet has Advanced settings so you can create the most awesome layered coats for your pets, I haven't had much of a play of this, but some of the coats I've seen in the game are amazing. (see below)

AND LASTLY.... Unicorns. I am yet to see one yet. I know they come in either white or black, and will appear randomly in the game. They can bless sims and other animals, run REALLY fast and come with maxed out Racing and Jumping traits, and when they run, Rainbows and Sparkles follow behind them. Unicorns can be bred with other unicorns or horses, and when bred with horses there is a small chance you'll have a unicorn foal. Unicorns can be "invited to live" with your family, and live longer than normal horses.

So far I've been having a lot of fun with this game. I'm finding horses the most fun, so far, but I have been playing with the horses more than cats and dogs. I'm hoping on finding a Unicorn soon. I will post photos when I do.

As for bugs. I haven't had any problems with it yet. I've heard that Sims 3 has stopped working altogether with people using Mac OSX Lion, but I haven't updated to Lion yet. I'm not sure if there is any issues on PC. My little sister was having some issues on her town, but I think it has something to do with her moving a family from one town to another, and then using cheats to change a male sim into a female sim.

I will continue to play with Emma, Lewis & Simon and hopefully it won't be too long until there is Kittens... and for all those of you wondering. Lewis & Simon where named after the awesome dudes from the Yogscast. If you haven't watched a least one of their Minecraft Youtube videos, you're missing out. I downloaded the Yogscast Soundboard for my iPhone and it's hilarious. Trying to make the sounds into ringtones :)

I HEART Benedict & Karl

So I'm failing at NaNoWriMo. 2 days in and nothing. I don't think it's going to happen. LOL EPIC FAIL.

My Counselor is crazy... awesome, but crazy. Looking forward to talking to her again next week.

watched the Glee Rocky Horror episode. Kurt fucking ruled as Riff-Raff.... and the cameos. OMG Meatloaf (original Eddie) & Barry Bostwick (original Brad) I was so excited. Glee is definitely a guilty pleasure.

I'm going to try and start writing more. Hazel (my counselor) things it would be a good idea. I don't know what I'll write, but I will try and post it.

Karl Urban's son is named Indy... after Indiana Jones.... I love Karl Urban even more now =D I can't wait to see photos of him as Judge Dredd....

I'm also looking forward to the release of Sherlock on Blu-Ray. If you missed them on TV, you NEED to get a hold of it. 3 long episodes of a modern day version of Sherlock Holmes, produced by Steven Moffatt (Doctor Who Series Five) and starring Martin Freeman (yep, the new Bilbo Baggins) as Dr John Watson, and the strikingly sexy Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock.

Don't get too excited. I don't know where this photo came from, but L-R Benedict, Steven Moffat and Matt Smith. As far as I know there is NO talks about a Sherlock/ Doctor Who crossover.... but that would be freaking awesome. Benedict is so freaking hot =D

Sims 3 Late Night is awesome. One day I promise I will take some screen shots to show. =D

It's almost my birthday. I'm not having my 80s inspired bash, but we are having a BBQ. Not really looking forward to it, but that's a completely different story.

i was about to runaway

Had a emotional breakdown today.

I completely lost it.

There was no one home, and I was going to get into my car and leave.

I don't know where I was going to go. I was just going.

But mum and dad came home before I left.

I talked with mum a little.

Then she turned it and started going on about herself... again.

I was going to scream at her, but luckily didn't.

After I had relaxed, mum, dad and I went out to two peoples bay.

We climbed over the rocks and chased crabs. It was fun.

I discovered that if I sit and do nothing for too long I feel sad and depressed.

So I have to keep myself occupied.

I'm afraid that I'll never have any children. For couple of reasons.

1) PCOS (even though I don't have it bad. it scares me)

2) too shy to go out and meet people.

I was looking for a local psychologist last night.

But mum thinks I should try weight watchers. I think having a support network will help.

I just need to socialise. I'm like a Sim in Sims 2. My Social bar is getting lower, soon, if I don't socialise, the Social Bunny will appear. And I don't want him too, cos he's creepy.

I downloaded some music from new bands.

Secondhand Serenade (I like one of their songs, Fall For You... until it was played a hundred million times on the radio)

and Automatic Loveletter. 

The lead singer, Juilet Simms, sings in one of Secondhand Serenades' songs.

I love them both.

Fave songs so far are, Something More by Secondhand Serenade and Make-Up Smeared Eyes by Automatic Loveletter.

Juliet Simms is quite good looking. I sense a girl crush.

 So. I MUST STAY POSITIVE. and OCCUPIED.

Molly Is...

... most likely going to be absent for a couple of days. WHY? because I have The Sims 3 Ambitions. So don't worry if you don't hear from me for a couple of days. But on the other hand, I probably will still blog. =D
I have blisters on my toes and it was agony at work today. Today was a 4 hour shift, tomorrow is a 7 hour shift.... I'm going to die. My feet are going to strangle me. I blame my sister Alex, for having sexy boots and those boots begging me to wear them. I thought if I wore socks it would be okay. WRONG!
Ask me what I'm doing next Thursday? I'm going to the movies! Ask me what I'm going to see? THE A TEAM! I'm even going to go all on my own!! That's how awesome it's going to be. I'm so excited, that I want to to be Thursday NOW!

 FUCK YEAH! and yes, that image HAD to take up all that space. It was completely worth it. Can't wait to laugh at how lame Sharlto Copley's southern American accent is, and perve on Bradley Cooper (look at that man's blue eyes! *swoon*) Anyhoo... Have a nice weekend, and for Western Australians'... YAY! long weekend.... well not for me, I don't have weekends. I'm working Saturday & Sunday =D

Stupid WOW Raids

Today was suppose to be my day off.
But NO, I get called in because someone (who may I add looked perfectly fine yesterday) is suddenly sick. Or maybe he has another WOW raid! GRRRR! I said NO to him when he rang, but then my boss rang, and I really can't say NO to him.
When I told dad I was working he said "you're getting closer to getting your iPad" hahahaha. I must of really went on about it.

I really don't want to go to work. But it's too late now, because I start in an hour. It's only a 4 hour shift, so I really shouldn't complain. And it is $72 extra dollars towards my trip.


My Sims 3 family is going well. My original Sims, Nick and Vita are long dead and now have great great great great grandchildren. 6 levels in the family tree. But I'm starting to get bored of them, and the fact that most of their surnames are Clown (it was the name of one of the males my "daughter" married) is rather annoying, but I like the girls to take the boys names when they get married, and well most of the "children" have been boys =(

Create A World

I downloaded The Sims 3 Create a World Tool. It was free and I was starting to get bored of the worlds I had in The Sims, but fuck it's hard to use. I tried to read the help file and that doesn't help me either. Is it just me, or is it really hard to use??? I think I'll just stick to downloading worlds that other people have made.

Also, you may have noticed the lack of photos. Well yeah, I failed the 100th attempt at the 365 Project =( Maybe I'll start again in 2010, which is just under 2 weeks away. I'm really excited, because I'll get to start using my new Moleskine 2010 diary on the 28th December =D I got my first thing in it too. A party on the 28th December for my friends 24th birthday. She's having a funeral for her love life (because she's (her words) "tragically single"), there's one downside, it's dresses for the ladeez and ties for the boys... I haven't worn a dress/skirt since year 8! that's 10 years! But I have a dress. I actually brought it today. I might wear it at Christmas to get used to wearing it. I really don't like dresses, but I promised her =D

Marvelous Monday

Soon, this little beauty will be mine. not all mine, I'm going halfsies with my little sister, but it's still going to be awesome. We get the Canon EOS 450D a 18-55mm lens, a 80-250 mm lens, a flash and a bag to put it in, all for under $2000.

Now I need to get over my fear of thinking that people think that I'm a tool for walking around town with a camera. did you get that? I didn't =D

I want to take photos. I just don't think I'm that good. But that's what practice is for.

I don't know how long this sharing of the camera will go. My sister is always at her boyfriends on the weekends, and i think it won't be long until we start to argue about it. But considering she is putting a little bit more money in than me, she has a bigger share.

Only because I can't save money to save my life.

As well as gracing the cover, there are also numerous photos of Muse scattered throughout the mag.... but not for long... Soon, with help from a pair of scissors and some blutac these images will be gracing my walls. =D Can you imagine? surrounded in Muse hot-ness!!!

If Only Sims Lives Were Real

Her name is Nala. She was born, and I grew her up. She's now married to Mortimer Goth (yep I bagged myself a Goth) and she wants to be a rockstar. She has maxed the Guitar skills and is Level 5 in the Musician Career. She has one son named Jarvis X (after her dad Jarvis Jaxon) she has an older brother, a twin sister and 2 little sisters. Her dad is her hero, he's a Superstar in the Athlectic career.
She's awesome.

Back To Work

Today is the last day of my 1 week "holiday"
I have to work tomorrow night.

I've been playing The Sims 3 constantly. It's so much fun. I created a green evil, loner, insane, genius, athletic women. And the first wish she got was to Steal Candy From A Baby. HAHA Awesome.

As soon as I figure out how to take photos of my Sims, I'll post some.
The very first family I created is now onto it's 6th Generation, and I only played with them once, for about 5 minutes =D. I found out you can actually turn off the option that makes the neighbourhood age on it's own, but I love it. It's awesome.... except for the fact that my whole neighbourhood is full of old people. =D

I did post photos on Flickr last night. You should check em out. They're not that exciting, just me showing off all the "stuff" I own.

Rambles & Sexy Men

Haven't blogged as much as I usually do. I've been playing The Sims 3 and twittering =P (you can follow me by click on the bluebird at the top of the page!)

So I've been sick over the last week (not Swine Flu.... which strangely has not been mentioned much on the News in the last couple of days..... or is that because I've been playing too much Sims and haven't watched the news???) I'm recovering, but because I have shitty sinuses. My whole head is blocked up and I can only partially hear probably, which is a bitch.
I've been saving up for a laptop, but I have decided that I don't want a laptop. I have no need for one. I have a perfectly fine (totally awesome) desktop computer, and I don't go traveling and I don't go out, so there is no need for me to have a laptop. =D

It's a bitch not being able to hear probably =(
