Another late night spent procrastinating instead of doing homework.

My little sister started blogging again. She writes heaps! I don't know how she does it! :D You should read it. She talks about me heaps :D

I bought an eBook reader today.

Sony eReader PRS-T2, it's so pretty.

I'm hoping it will get me reading again.

The books I've been trying to read are really big (ie GAME OF THRONES!) and I have this habit of falling asleep and dropping the book on my nose!

So eReader = light = no broken noses.

New iPhone been announced!

And guess whose getting one?

ME!

I have started 2 new hobbies.

Gardening.

I have 2 mint plants, and currently growing chives and basil from seeds. I'm planning on getting some above grown planters and growing some vegetables, and hopefully getting some chickens!

My other hobby is a little more nerdy.

Birdwatching.

I bought a Birdwatching Field Guide for Australia, and a pocket sized Moleskine notebook to record my sightings.

I was inspired to start Birdwatching after watching The Big Year, with Jack Black, Owen Wilson and Steve Martin in it. It was a great movie :D

Movies have been inspiring me a lot recently.

Maybe because of my "fragile" emotional state.

I watched The Way.

I have decided to, one day, to do The Way Of St James.

It's over 700km through the north of Spain.

But I will do it! One day, before I'm 35!

FIRST LOOK - Thranduil (The Hobbit)

First photo of Legolas' father Thranduil is here and he looks amazing! Before the role was cast, David Tennant was rumoured to be playing him (which would of been AWESOME) but Lee Pace was finally cast, and they definitely did a good job. I love how they cast dark haired, dark eyed actors to play blonde haired, blue eyed elves :D

I was so unsure of Lee Pace being Thranduil! Being a David Tennant fangirl, I was devastated when he didn't get it! But this just confirms that I'm an idiot and Lee Pace is going to be AMAZING! He better get some decent screen time!

AHHH! Pressure!

Sorry for the serious lack of posts.
Life is a little hectic at the moment.
Getting ready to do my Prac for school.
2 weeks looking after kids at Vacation Care.
I'm jumping in the deep end, and I feel like I'm drowning.
I'm getting pressured from all angles!
I had a job interview at the place I'm doing my prac, but I haven't heard back yet.
The problem is, I told my current job that I might be leaving, and now, that I probably haven't got a new job, they're being really passive aggressive and annoying at me because they think I don't want to be there anymore. I do want to be there, it's just a job came up that was related to my studies! I wasn't going to let it go! It's the only place in town that does Out of School Hours care.
One of the other issues, is the 2 other girls in my Prac group, work there already, so know what they're doing, and I know NOTHING! And I don't think they realise that :(
AHHHH! PRESSURE!

I promise the next post will be happier :D

With The Stars Now - Neil Armstrong

This morning we lost one of the worlds greatest men. Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon.

It's always sad when we lose someone, but Neil will be remembered forever.

Even now, watching the broadcast of the landing, gives me goosebumps.

It's a moment in time that everyone will remember, whether you watched it live or not.

This video is the perfect tribute to a man we know little about but a man we all know.

 

Rest in Peace Neil Armstrong.

You are apart of the stars now.
