Last nights dinner was fun, even if the place I work was bitched about. LOL. It's not her fault she didn't know I worked there, and its not her fault she didn't know anything about the prices. "who would go to Blockbuster, it's so expensive." hahaha LOL, well let me ask you this. how are you math skills? It's $3.50 a night for a new release at Video Ezy, and $5.00 for TWO nights for a new release at Blockbuster.... Hmmmmm. Anyway. That's the last I'll say on the matter.

I'm a little freaked out about starting at Target tomorrow... For real. There are so many people working there, so many names to remember.

I want to apologies for the overload of Kevin Durand spammage... Especially on my Tumblr. I'm sure I'll get over it soon :)

Today & The Future

just went into Target. got to walk into the staff room... cos I'm freaking awesome. I bought DVDs... again. I got:

• Doctor Who Series 5 Volume 3 on Blu-Ray
• The Book Of Eli on Blu-Ray and;
• Mystery, Alaska on DVD (this is my current favourite Kevin Durand film) and I love the fact that it also has Russell Crowe and Scott Grimes in it... for all the "not obsessed with films" people... Russell Crowe, Scott Grimes and Kevin Durand are all in Robin Hood (Robin, Will Scarlett and Little John respectively) I can't wait to see Kevin Durand as Little John. yeah I know... just sit there and roll your eyes.

Tonight I'm going out with my friends. We are going to the only Japanese restaurant in town. I'm looking forward to it.
I'm looking forward to a lot of things.

• Dinner tonight with friends
• First "real" day at Target on Monday (I'm a Greeter... I get to spend 5 hours standing at the entrance saying hello to everyone)
• Weight Watchers... I hope I've lost weight. I'm a little unsure because I'm going to the 5.30pm meeting and you always weigh a little more in the evenings.
• Robin Hood on Blu-Ray in 2 weeks
• Film releases for October... Disneys' Beauty and the Beast, Iron Man 2, The A Team, Legion.
• Film releases for November... Predators
• My birthday
• MUSE Concert
• Christmas =D

I'm positive there is stuff I'm forgetting, and there is surely stuff that hasn't even been planned yet.

First things first. You guys have to realise how hard this is going to be for me. Just 5. That's like telling a bird not to fly. So I'm going to cheat a little and do my current Top 5 Celeb Male Crushes. I think that will be easier.

1. Kevin Durand

He's not really the sort of guy I'm attracted too. He's tall, 6'6. And very muscular... which I've never been attracted too before.... until Kevin. his role as the angel Gabriel in Legion is what did it for me. And since watching Legion last week, I've watched 5 other movies with Kevin. Smokin Aces, 3.10 To Yuma, X-Men Origins - Wolverine, Walking Tall and Mystery, Alaska.

2. Sharlto Copley

Don't act so surprised.

Sharlto. He's only EVER been in 2 movies. District 9 and The A Team. Before District 9 he had NEVER acted before in his life... and considering half the script of District 9 was improv... I can pretty much say he's one of the best actors in the world.

I love his accent. That's what did it. His South African accent... As well as being good looking.

3. Tim Roth

all I need to say is one word....

HOT!

that is all.

4.Eli Roth

Just hot... especially when he's covered in fake blood and dirt.

I have no SHAME!

5. Paul Bettany

Paul is a strange one. My crushes on him don't last long, but they are quite frequent.

He did films and played the skinny, weedy underdog. He was cute, but nothing exciting. But then he played Silas in The Da Vinci Code... Paul Bettany as a bad guy???!!! That lasted for a while and then nothing.... until Inkheart. Paul Bettany as Dust Finger... then he took his shirt off.... OH EM GEE. He was no longer the skinny weedy underdog, he had muscles! Then Legion. he was the reason I wanted to watch Legion. I can't wait to see Priest.

also his voice. When I heard his voice in Iron Man I seriously had a fit, I was so excited. How lucky is Tony Stark to have a computer that sounds like Paul Bettany?

Okay, I admit that was a lot harder than I thought =D

Things I Love Friday

Short and sweet today, as well as a day late.
+ New job. I have a locker, there's a staff room, I have codes... It's exciting.
+ Predators is out on Blu-Ray on 10th November. YAY!
+ Kevin Durand... Yep he's my new celeb obsession. I can't wait to see him in Robin Hood when it comes out.
+ I get paid public holidays. And because I'm rostered on Mondays I get paid to not go to work, sad there is only one public holiday between now and Christmas.
+ lots of movies to buy in the next 2 months :)

Pretty Awesome Day

Don't you hate it when you write a huge epic post and then the universe decides for a split second to hate you, and you lose it? SUCKS big time. I did the most epic, awesome, honest intro post on my Weight Watchers blog, and BAM! *universe hates me* GONE! BASTERD! if you want to read my weight watchers blog, let me know and I'll send you the link.

My Ray Bans showed up today. I think they're really good fakes. I can't find the RB etching on the frame. There is one on the lens, but not on the frame. They're really heavy and solid, which is good, and look awesome. So I'm pleased. and if you didn't know, you'd say they're real... so don't tell anyone =D

Anyway. Weight Watchers today. UP 100grams.... still had to give back my paperclip. Did I explain it to you? Well if you lose weight, you get a paperclip, if you put weight on, you have to give it back. Simple. Well I have NO paperclips anymore.

Guess what I watched last night?

It was even more awesome than I was expecting. Paul Bettany as an angel with a machine gun!! FUCK YES! So now for a mini review.
who? Paul Bettany Denis Quaid. Lucas Black. Kate Walsh.
plot. Charlie is 8 months pregnant. she works at a diner in Paradise Falls... middle of nowhere, population 4. On a ordinary sunny day a strange old women shows up, says some mean things about about Charlie's baby, turns evil, climbs the walls and gets shot in the face. Then Michael shows up. Michael is a fallen angel. He doesn't agree with the orders that his father (God) has given him, so he has come to earth (cut off his wings) stolen a shitload of firepower and come to protect the unborn baby. Angel have come to earth and taken control of the weak humans and have made there way to Paradise Falls. There is fighting and biting and gross... people die.... baby is born. Then Gabriel shows up to do the job that Michael was suppose to do. There is an angel/angel fight. in the end... the baby survives and Charlie, and boyfriend Jeep (yes his name is Jeep) travel to a safe area (because the Apocalypse has begun) and all live happily ever after.... except for all the people who were brutally murdered by evil angels.

biggest surprise. How well Paul Bettany can do action films.... (and how sexy he is) and how hot Kevin Durand (who is not usually known for looking hot) is as Gabriel. (I sense a slight obsession with Michael/Gabriel slash coming on)

creepiest moment. Doug Jones as the Ice Cream Man. Holy Crap. Doug Jones is creepy on a good day (but an excellent actor) so imagine him playing a Ice Cream Man possessed by an evil angel.
rating. 5. I watched it on preview disc, so the quality wasn't great. I can't wait until October, so I can buy it on Blu-Ray and watch it a hundred million more times.

I can't wait to see Paul Bettany in Priest!

What else did I do today? I went and brought new shoes for work. The shoe store had flowery Doc Martens, but they only had one size and it was too small... and they were on special... only $100. I tried on the largest size they had (size 8UK) and it was too small, so I missed out of cheap Docs. I also went to Dymocks. I bought Stories (a collection of short stories by lots of awesome authors) and Scott Pilgrims Finest Hour. I found it on the shelf, and Shane (who works there) came over and asked how I was, and I pretty much girlie squeed at him because I had Scott Pilgrim. slightly embarrassing =D

Now I'm at home. I'm going to turn my music up load and attempt to clean my room a little. I might duck down to the video shop and see if there's any good movies in.

Things I Love Thursday

I have a new JOB. Well... another one. That's right I'm one of those crazy people who have 2 jobs! I got a part time (but permanent shifts... YAY) at Target. (yep, I get to wear Red to work) at this point I don't know when I start, first I have to hand all the forms in and then wait to get an Employee number, then I can log online and do the induction. I'm excited. It's only check-out and Welcome (yep I get to be on of those annoying people who stand at the door and say Hello) but once you're in, you're in... I see only moving upwards.
