PG Slash? or NC-17 Slash?

I don't get it?? How is PG rated slash, suppose to be interesting...?? "ooh look they're holding hands... how romantic!" *puke*
The only good slash, is smutty slash!!!! The amount of non smut slash really pisses me off... I check out TAGS and see a pairing that I like (which only has 1 or 2 uses) and when I click on them... they're PG & G rated... WHERE ARE ALL THE NC-17!!!!
It just annoys me!
