This list is from the WA official name popularity ka-jigger list party for 2009.
I bolded the names I love, and left some commertary on some names. They forgot some names =D
Here's the names they missed. Westley, Tennant & Barnaby for boys, and Daisy, Delilah & Jemimah for girls. I surprised by the lack of Edwards in WA, obviously West Aussies are smarter than I thought =P
I think if I ever had children I would like to have a girl, but I have so many awesome names for boys. Do you think I could get away with calling my daughter Westley or Tennant?

ReplyDeleteI've already decided on what I'd call my baby if it was a girl. Abigail Rose. My Mum's name is Gail, and my bf's Mums name is Rose, so we have our Mums names. I also just love the name Abigail. It's so pretty.
ReplyDeleteAdam though, if we have a boy, wants to call it 'Devin'. I grew up in Sydney, and Devon is a lunch meat!!
I guess in a way that makes me lucky I have 40% chance of concieveing and like 5% success rate in it sticking. Devin! Really!?
Abigail is one of the names I love too. I haven't even thought about middle names, because it will most likely be a family name.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a big fan of the name Devin. I don't know why. At least it's not the name of lunch meat in WA, Polony =P
I like the idea of names that can be shorten and sound awesome. Not like Melissa, I hate being called Mel =D But with Abigail, she can be Abi, or Gail.
