Tattoo For Me!

I had my 6 months post-surgery appointment last Tuesday (even if it's actually been 7 months) and everyone is happy, especially the bariatric surgeon. I have lost 65.5% of my excess body weight and 13 inchs off my waist. He's also told me it's time to exercise, and not walk to work exercise, proper, "sweat your arse off" (his words) exercise. At least 3 times a week, moving to 5 days a week in 6 months time. He has told me I can quite easily get to under 85kg in the next 6 months, and then I'll be at his goal weight (83kg), I'm happy the way I am now, but now I need to exercise to build muscle and tone my flabby skin :)
I don't have any exercise goals at the moment. I would like to ride to work and home (ride home - uphill - without getting off my bike) and I'm looking into yoga, for stretching and stress relief.

Work is causing havoc with my anxiety at the moment. I used to leave work and not think about it, until I went back, but now I'm thinking about it all the time, my mind is constantly trying to figure out whats going on, where I fit, how I can fix EVERYONES problems... it's stupid stuff that I shouldn't need to worry about. It's immature stuff, that only involves me a tiny bit. It's the overall feeling around work, the way others feel, affect me. I have downloaded an app called Headspace, which has short 10 minute meditation sessions, which have help (if I remember to actually do them)

I crossed something off my bucket list on Tuesday. Something I've been wanting to do for years, and finally after a couple of failed tries, did!
I got a tattoo...
Well technically I got 2 tattoos.
I finally got the Deathly Hallows from Harry Potter tattooed to my wrist, and because I had some time left, I got a little Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service tattooed on my arm.
They're both healing at the moment (and quite itchy) so when they're healed I will get better photos, but here are the super fresh, just inked tattoos.

I need to sit down and do a mini life plan (again) and hopefully restart my health on Monday (which also happens to be Star Wars Day!)

Can anyone recommend some yummy protein shake recipes :)

Health Update

So my health is a little haywire at the moment.
I'm still losing weight, but haven't really bothered to weigh myself in awhile.
I had a week off work after Easter, and it was great while I was on holiday, but after I got back to work I realised it probably wasn't a good idea.
1) I didn't drink enough water, so I'm now suffering from dehydration and;
2) I ate badly, so now my body is low on protein, so I feel tired and weak.
I've been trying to catch up on my water consumption and my protein consumption, but it's not really working... I'm either working on one or the other. Because of the size of my stomach, I can't eat and drink at the same time. So it makes it difficult. I have decided to work on my dehydration first, because I think that's the most dangerous to me at this point in time.
I've also ended up with a few rather embarrassing ailments, which I won't go into. All I will say it they're uncomfortable, annoying, and if they get any worse, it may involve a trip to hospital. So I'm keeping a close eye on the little bastards!

My mental health is having up and down moments.
Issues at work, have made my work environment very uncomfortable and volatile. So on my first day back to work I woke up with a very bad case of Vertigo, which I decided was either caused by dehydration, ongoing sinus infection, anxiety, or all three. Adding that to the work environment, crying babies, and PMSy work colleague, it made my first week back at work very hard. 3 at work panic attacks, and 4 after work panic attacks later, I made it to the weekend! Which so far has been great.
Yesterday I helped my mum with a quiz night, which involved me collecting money and being sociable with strangers. As someone who used to suffer from social anxiety disorder, I was so proud of myself. I even stood in front of everyone and spoke! YAY!

I'm looking forward to next weekend. It's a long weekend, it's the 100th anniversary of the battle of Gallipoli in WW1, and my town is going all out. First most of the soldiers who went to Gallipoli, Albany was the last place in Australia they saw. Monday is a public holiday, and I have a doctors appointment in Perth on Tuesday, so YAY 4 day weekend! I'm also getting a tattoo in Perth, as well as getting to spend sometime with my friends, so I'm very excited.
I'm excited about my doctors appointment as well, because I'm seeing the Bariactric Surgeon, I haven't seen him since August, he was the one who decided if I was suitable for surgery, and the one that told me all the scary truths about my life, i.e. that I was a couple of months away from Diabetes, I had high cholesterol, and probably wouldn't of made it to age 40! So I'm very excited to see what my blood work says.

My mini health goal for this week is to drink 2L+ of water a day!

Hope everyone else is well.

Weight Loss Update

I haven't spoken about my weight loss in awhile.
I have a separate blog for weight loss stuff that I have neglected, but have decided I'll probably just move it to here, and add a tag :) I may change my mind again... but we will see!

So the question you're all asking is probably, how is it going?
The answer is, pretty damn well!

This morning I weighed 104.3kg, thats a loss of 47kg since August 2014.
I can now walk into a clothing store and buy from the NON-plus size section! That's right, I'm in size 16-18! I just can't believe it! I was trying clothing on in the non-plus size section and having to get a smaller size! I'm not into Jeansweast jeans yet... but I'm pretty damn close. They have Curvy Jeans, which are awesome and I probably would fit in them... but I want to get into a pair of their SUPER SKINNY jeans! My whole life I have wanted to wear skinny jeans... but it's been very hard to find them in my size... now I'm getting closer.
My bra size has gone from 26DD, to 16C... I'm not even worried about the loss of boob size... I just excited I can now wear pretty sexy bras (I understand that there is pretty sexy bras in size 26DD, but they were hard to find in town... or very expensive! YAY for $12 BONDS bras!!!)
I have teal hair now too (you have probably seen the photos on instagram to my other blog) and it's awesome. People either love it... or don't say anything!!
I haven't jumped on the exercise train yet... I tried, with boxing... but I got sick and didn't go to one... then I had an appointment, and then I was sick again... so I have missed heaps, and just don't feel it anymore.

I'm heading to New Zealand in September (like I don’t talk about it enough!!) I'll be there for 20ish days. Thats the longest I've been away from my family... and the futherest I've been away from home... and not to forget A WHOLE DIFFERENT COUNTRY! I'm pretty much have travel and New Zealand on the brain... every time I'm online, I'm on Pinterest looking at photos of NZ, or looking at packing and travel tips... I've gone crazy! It's way to early for me to even be worrying about this sort of stuff yet... I don't even have a passport yet... (I'm close... just need the money... and the interview!)

I'm very excited about 2015. I can't believe it's March already!
