The Adventure Begins

It's been a little while since I blogged.
I've pretty much been playing Minecraft online with Emmy :D
I've also been planning an epic adventure. A pilgrimage.
I've decided that in 2016, I will WALK the Camino De Santiago in Spain.
It's a 700km + Pilgrimage. It's one of the oldest walks in the world.
AND I WILL DO IT!

I'm excited about it, but also scared. It's my motivation to get healthy.

Other than that I haven't done much in the last couple days.

I enrolled in TAFE to continue my childcare studies. I'm very excited. I have more school time and I also have Prac. One day a week for 20 weeks! 10 days with Babies, and 10 days in the "big kids" room (which is 2-5year olds).
I had so much trouble getting everything done last year. I'm hoping this year to be a little bit more pro-active, and also hoping that having glasses will help. I wouldn't do much homework because I would always end up with a headache. :)

Is anyone else studying this year? I also plan on trying to do a Spanish Language short course, in preparation for my adventure.

Its been really hot here recently. It's been so gross!!! BRING ON WINTER!

    1. AWESOME! I will try. I don't plan on walking it until 2016. And I might spend sometime in Europe after :D No point travelling all that way and not seeing the rest of Spain and Europe.
I've been practising my Spanish by (trying) to read your blog :D

  2. Wow, it´s amazing how international The Way is. Im from Galicia (my Grandma lives really close to Santiago) so I know all sort of things about The Way and all that stuff. I guess you´ll read a lot of blogs and stuff about it (or you´ve done it already) but if you´re wondering something maybe i could help you. I haven´t done the way but i´m pretty familiar with it and what you have to do, what to bring and how to prepare. There´s also a movie directed by Michael Sheen about it (His parents where from Galicia).

And I think that your idea of studying Spanish is great, because even though the hostels at the way are used to international guests, Spain is not known for our great English XD
