Very. First. Post. (Introduction v1.0)
It's been 5 years since I started this blog. That's pretty amazing!
5 years ago today I was working in a job that I didn't really enjoy, I was uncomfortable with myself, I lacked confidence and didn't really know how to just "be myself"
I think I've come a long way, and I don't think I could of made it this far without this blog, and all the awesome friends I have made.
Okay, so I admit, I'm still in a job that's sort of boring and repetitive, and I still lack confidence, but compared to 5 years ago! I'm starting to come out of my shell. My online persona is more me, than my real life persona, and I'm slowly becoming more "Me"
My blog has evolved too.
It started as "Cupcakes and Mustangs" back in 2008.
Then became "Eclectic Geekery" in 2009.
Then I changed it again to "The Importance of Being Lost" but by the end of 2010, "The Princess and The Geek" was born, complete with it's own URL and everything.
I was going to re-introduce myself, but decided not to, you all know who I am :D
I hope everyone had a great new year, and I hope everyone is looking forward an awesome 2013. If you haven't already check out my 2013 Bucket List, also link me to yours :D
My first news years resolution is to cut out sugar :D, be more AWESOME and make more friends :D
