I'm still losing weight, but haven't really bothered to weigh myself in awhile.
I had a week off work after Easter, and it was great while I was on holiday, but after I got back to work I realised it probably wasn't a good idea.
1) I didn't drink enough water, so I'm now suffering from dehydration and;I've been trying to catch up on my water consumption and my protein consumption, but it's not really working... I'm either working on one or the other. Because of the size of my stomach, I can't eat and drink at the same time. So it makes it difficult. I have decided to work on my dehydration first, because I think that's the most dangerous to me at this point in time.
2) I ate badly, so now my body is low on protein, so I feel tired and weak.
I've also ended up with a few rather embarrassing ailments, which I won't go into. All I will say it they're uncomfortable, annoying, and if they get any worse, it may involve a trip to hospital. So I'm keeping a close eye on the little bastards!
My mental health is having up and down moments.
Issues at work, have made my work environment very uncomfortable and volatile. So on my first day back to work I woke up with a very bad case of Vertigo, which I decided was either caused by dehydration, ongoing sinus infection, anxiety, or all three. Adding that to the work environment, crying babies, and PMSy work colleague, it made my first week back at work very hard. 3 at work panic attacks, and 4 after work panic attacks later, I made it to the weekend! Which so far has been great.
Yesterday I helped my mum with a quiz night, which involved me collecting money and being sociable with strangers. As someone who used to suffer from social anxiety disorder, I was so proud of myself. I even stood in front of everyone and spoke! YAY!
I'm looking forward to next weekend. It's a long weekend, it's the 100th anniversary of the battle of Gallipoli in WW1, and my town is going all out. First most of the soldiers who went to Gallipoli, Albany was the last place in Australia they saw. Monday is a public holiday, and I have a doctors appointment in Perth on Tuesday, so YAY 4 day weekend! I'm also getting a tattoo in Perth, as well as getting to spend sometime with my friends, so I'm very excited.
I'm excited about my doctors appointment as well, because I'm seeing the Bariactric Surgeon, I haven't seen him since August, he was the one who decided if I was suitable for surgery, and the one that told me all the scary truths about my life, i.e. that I was a couple of months away from Diabetes, I had high cholesterol, and probably wouldn't of made it to age 40! So I'm very excited to see what my blood work says.
My mini health goal for this week is to drink 2L+ of water a day!
Hope everyone else is well.
