Cats & Constellations

Hello everyone!
What an amazing last couple of months I've had! I went to New Zealand - it was amazing (I promise I will post about it later) and I've been busy with work and life.
I was sick in early December, and had 2 weeks off work, but was able to sit down and have a good hard look at my life - figure out what I want to do, what I want to keep doing, what I don't want to do anymore! I also started a new blog with my bestie Emmy... and started to learn how wordpress worked.
The idea behind Cats & Constellations is we post of alternate days, and the posts are adrdressed to each other, but others are welcome to read of course. It was inspired by The VlogBrothers, Hank and John Green, and a little bit of Amazing Phil and Danisnotonfire. I want to start vlogging, but my confidence still needs a little bit of kickstart!
I would really love it if you guys could check out Cats & Constellations and let me know what you think. I really appreciate everyones opinions, especially people who take time out of their lives to read whatever dribble I have to say!

I've just added it to Bloglovin' so please follow us! Again, I want to thank everyone who follows this blog for an amazing 2015, I know I was rather quiet on the blogging front, and that includes leaving comments on others blogs too. My plan for 2016 is to comment, no matter how short, just so people know how awesome I think they are!

The Happiest 5K

Before

Way back at the beginning of November I crossed something exciting off my bucket list, I participated in a Colour Run in Perth, Western Australia. It was amazing! I would like to share some tips with you!

Included in the price of the ticket (depending on when you purchase the tickets, the prices change – early bird tickets are cheaper) you get a t-shirt, a sweatband (not shown), your race number and safety pins, temporary tattoos, and a medal and drink (you get these at the end) – there was an option to have the pack posted to you, but it was $12.95 per pack, and since I had ordered 3 packs I decided to pick up the packs at the location the day before.

A few things I recommend you take with you;
Water bottle (water is available at the beginning and at the halfway point) I didn’t see very many people with water bottles, but I recommend taking one just in case
Bandana – I didn’t use mine until the end to wipe my glasses, phone and self, but I ended up getting a mouthful of Shine which wasn’t very pleasant
Sunglasses are a MUST! The powder is super fine and gets everywhere, in your eyes, in your ears, in your nose (re: purple boogars!)
Sunscreen – especially for me in Australia (even when it’s overcast) the sun is fierce!
Hat – I bought a Color Run cap when I picked up my pack – it WAS white, and super comfy (and only $15)
Bumbag – I thought this was going to be a good idea… But I just strung it over my shoulder – next time I will just take a small backpack
Ziplock bag for your phone – a must! Even when in your bag the colour will find a way!
Fun clothes – people had wigs, socks, tutus (including me!) and I even saw some chickens! White is best – I even saw someone wearing a wedding veil!

It was an amazing day! Apparently over 23,000 people participated this time (that’s the most people to ever do the Colour Run in Australia) and it was awesome, but didn’t feel crowded! We left the start chute at around 9.30am and were finished around 10.40am, we walked a nice relaxing pace!

The colour coating was great (except for Orange… They just squirted use with orange water, but it didn’t leave a mark) and the Shine section was amazing! Glitter and sparkles EVERYWHERE! We got coated in Yellow, Blue, Orange, Sparkles, Purple, and snow (bubble foam) and at the end we were given a pack of colour to use as we saw fit (Slo-mo throw videos anyone??) we got coated in all the colours! It was amazing to see people who did the run and didn’t have much colour on them! Go wild people!

After

I highly recommend if you get the chance, DO THE COLOUR RUN!!
Thank you for reading!

Things I Love Thursday

I discovered this colouring book at Dymocks and it's freaking amazing!
I honestly identify to some aspects of Hipter-ism, and not afraid to admit it!
This colouring book fuels my 49% hipster soul!

This amazingly beautiful planner! It's so beautiful! I really want to buy it, but I have a slight perfectionist problem. It's a 17 month diary, which means, do I start using this new one and have a half finished 2015 planner? or do I not use it until 2016 and have a couple of months unused!?

Honorable Mentions: Sulpher-Crested Cockatoos - Radical self love bible class - picking forget me nots from the church garden - buying children books - glitter wash tape - watermelon - teddy bear biscuits - gifts from parents of children i look after - simpsons re-runs - puffins - fenrir the fluff butt!

All the questions!

Blogger iPhone App Test!

Hello everyone
Today I'm testing the Blogger App for iOS. I've used it before, but not recently!
Since I'm heading to New Zealand in September, and I'm not taking my laptop (well I have decided not too at this point in time, this may change) so I thought I'd give the app another go!
The main thing I want to test is adding photos and how the layout looks! So here it goes!

Will it be centred when I publish? Will it look funny?
The issue I'm having right now, is the screen doesn't scroll when you type to the bottom, it just keeps going under the keyboard! You have to manually scroll to see your text!!

I can't seem to adjust the size of the image in the app! That would be nice!

So nows the time to hit publish and see what it looks like! I will not edit this post after I've published it, even if it looks silly!!!

44 days until my trip!!

Love Molly xoxo

Dragon's Loyalty Award

I've been nominated by the super talented and awesome Rosa of Gingerbread Sagas, you really need to check out her blog!

The Rules
  1. Visit and thank the blogger who nominated you.
  2. Acknowledge that blogger on your blog and a link back.
  3. You must share 7 things other bloggers may not know about you.
  4. Nominate up to 15 bloggers for Dragon’s Loyalty Award.
  5. Copy and paste the award somewhere on your blog.
Seven random facts that you don't (but probably do) know about me

one. Ginger makes me nauseous, even though ginger is suppose to help with nausea.
two. I still sleep with my teddy I've had since I was a baby.
three. I like to waste time watching youtube videos of people playing video games. I'd rather do that than play a video game myself.
four. I collect scarves and beanies, especially if I travel
five. I'm forgetful... like really forgetful, to a point where I even forget about my notebook, with notes not to forget :(
six. I'm a pessimist, and an introvert, but am really good at pretending to be an optimist and an extrovert :)
seven. This took a long time for me to post, because I'm having a really hard time thinking of seven things about myself... should I be worried??

I'm going to copout and nominate "anyone who wants to do this"

I want to thank Rosa again for the nomination and apologise for the amount of time it's taken for me to finish it :)
